Gregori J. Martin is a television producer, director, and the founder, CEO, and chairman of LANY Entertainment an independent bi-coastal entertainment company. Martin is best known for his digital drama series The Bay, for which he won the 2015 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding New Approaches Drama Series and the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series. Martin is also known for the theatrically released independent vampire thriller Raven, a feature film produced by GruntWorks Entertainment where he originally served as a producer, director and as president for approximately four years. Martin is currently in development on a six-hour miniseries titled The Disciples that was sold to Sony Entertainment and serves as co-executive producer and head writer of the made-for-TV miniseries. Martin also serves as co-executive producer and director of the Daytime Emmy-nominated situation comedy This Just In for Associated Television International (ATI). Martin was awarded the 2011 Indie Series Award for Outstanding Directing for his work on The Bay and was again nominated in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

<i>Hunting Season</i> (web series)

Hunting Season is an American LGBT-themed comedy-drama web series created by Jon Marcus. Following the romantic and sexual exploits of Alex and his small group of friends in New York City, the story was inspired by and largely based on the 2005–08 blog The Great Cock Hunt and the 2008 novel of the same name published by Kensington Books.

The Indie Series Awards is an annual event hosted by We Love Soaps, based in Los Angeles, California, honoring the best in independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the Internet. The ceremony was founded by Roger Newcomb in 2010. In 2013, after the 4th Indie Soap Awards ceremony, the awards were rebranded as the Indie Series Awards.

EastSiders is an American dark comedy web series created by Kit Williamson. It premiered on YouTube on December 14, 2012, and began streaming through Logo TV's website on April 23, 2013. Set in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, the series follows couple Thom and Cal (Williamson) as they struggle with infidelity and substance abuse. It also explores the relationship between Kathy, Cal's best friend, and her boyfriend Ian as they reach their six-month anniversary, making it Kathy's longest relationship.

In 2012, Colleen Zenk opened the ceremony at New World Stages with a live musical performance, while Fan Yang's Gazillion Bubble Show closed the show.

The 4th Annual Indie Soap Awards (ISA4) took place on February 19, 2013, once again at New World Stages in New York. The nonprofit Indie Series Network served as the charity sponsor. Colleen Zenk and Kevin Spirtas, who both landed on web series after attending ISA3, opened the show. Two former ISA winners, Martha Byrne and Hillary B. Smith, closed the show as the theater once again was filled with bubbles. The ceremony was live-streamed for the first time ever.

The 6th Indie Series Awards were held on April 1, 2015 at the El Portal Theater in Los Angeles, hosted by Eric Martsolf. Presented by We Love Soaps, the awards recognize independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the web.

Miss Behave is a teen drama web series produced between June 2010 and July 2012. Created and executive produced by Susan Bernhardt, it stars Jillian Clare as Malibu teen Victoria "Tori" Archer and is streamed at www.MissBehave.tv.

<i>Winterthorne</i>

Winterthorne is a soap opera web series that premiered on August 27, 2015 at Winterthorne.com. Starring Martha Madison as Miranda Winterthorne, the ruthless matriarch of a candy dynasty, the series was created, written and executive produced by Michael Caruso. Caruso previously created the web soap DeVanity, which ran from 2011 to 2014.

<i>Anacostia</i> (web series)

Anacostia is a soap opera web series that premiered on October 15, 2009 on YouTube. It was created by Anthony A. Anderson, who also stars in, writes, produces, and directs the series. Anacostia chronicles the drama among residents of the titular community in Washington, D. C. Guest star Martha Byrne later became an executive producer on the series.

<i>The Bay</i> (web series) Crime drama

The Bay is American crime-drama series. The show streams on Peacock in the United States, 10 Play in Australia, SABC in South Africa and Planet TV in Europe.

Kristos Andrews is a British-American Actor, Producer, Director and 11-time Emmy winner. Kristos received Emmy Awards in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021 for his work as the lead actor on critically acclaimed crime-drama The Bay on Peacock. Andrews has won five more Emmys as an Executive Producer of the series in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020, in addition to winning an Emmy® for his work as a Director. Since 2016, he has starred as Tyler in the Pop TV teen sitcom This Just In, for which contrary to his usual heavy dramatic performances, he was Emmy® nominated for his comedic work as an Actor, showcasing his broad range of talent. Kristos is also an X Games Champion and two-time Guinness World Records record holder for his previous career as an extreme sports athlete in skateboarding.

Ben Baur is an American actor known for starring in the LGBT-themed web series Hunting Season. Out named him to its Out100 list in 2015.

The 8th Indie Series Awards were held on April 5, 2017 at The Colony Theatre in Los Angeles, with the ceremony hosted by EastSiders producers and stars Kit Williamson and John Halbach. Presented by We Love Soaps, the awards recognize independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the web.

The Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series was an award presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS).

The 44th Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, which honors the crafts behind American daytime television programming, was held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California on April 28, 2017. The event was presented in conjunction with the 44th Daytime Emmy Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The nominations were announced on March 22, 2017, during a live episode of CBS's The Talk for the third year in a row. On January 26, 2017, it was announced that the Lifetime Achievement Award would be presented to Harry Friedman.

The 9th Indie Series Awards were held on April 4, 2018 at The Colony Theatre in Los Angeles, with the ceremony hosted by Emmy Award-winner Patrika Darbo. Presented by We Love Soaps, the awards recognize independently produced, scripted entertainment created for the web.
