Globe Capital Venture Holdings, Inc. (GCVHI), doing business as 917Ventures, is a Philippine-based corporate investment firm. [1] Although it is wholly-owned subsidiary of major telecommunications firm Globe Telecom, the company independently operates itself on its own legal entity for the purpose of corporate venture building outside of its parent's core business. History

Globe Capital Venture Holdings, Inc. was formed by Globe Telecom on June 29, 2016, serving its purpose of venture capital on non-core business. In 2019, however, Globe introduced GVCHI's front-facing brand known as 917Ventures. The new brand was named after "917", the prefix mobile phone number assigned to Globe. [4]

In its startup, the company formed a unicorn venture called Mynt Inc., which owns the popular mobile payment service GCash. Mynt is 917Ventures's first joint venture with Globe co-parent Ayala Corporation and China-based Alibaba affiliate Ant Group.

Pinoy Interactive Entertainment was a Philippine free-to-air television channel co-owned by ABS-CBN Corporation, Kroma Entertainment and 917Ventures, in partnership with Broadcast Enterprises and Affiliated Media. The name is derived after Pie, a baked pastry dish made of dough casing that contains various sweet or savory filling ingredient. The channel consists of different traditional and digital entertainment programs for games, talk and variety shows mixed with real-time interaction format that can be viewed at any device, dubbed as the country's first multiscreen and real-time interactive entertainment channel. It broadcast nationwide on television via digital terrestrial through BEAM TV on its flagship station Channel 31, cable and satellite providers, as well as worldwide via online through PIE's YouTube channel, its official website and GCash's GLife, which operates from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.
