A.F.C. Craigavon (formerly known as A.F.C. Silverwood) is an intermediate-level football club playing in the Intermediate A division of the Mid-Ulster Football League in Northern Ireland. The club was founded in 2016 following the amalgamation of A.F.C. Craigavon and Silverwood United. [1] The club is based in Craigavon, County Armagh. The club competes in the Irish Cup. [2]
By 2023, the club had reverted to using the name A.F.C. Craigavon. [3]

Lurgan is a town in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, near the southern shore of Lough Neagh. Lurgan is about 18 miles (29 km) south-west of Belfast and is linked to the city by both the M1 motorway and the Belfast–Dublin railway line. It had a population of about 28,634 at the 2021 UK census and is within the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district. For some purposes, Lurgan is treated as part of the "Craigavon Urban Area" along with neighbouring Craigavon and Portadown.
Craigavon is a town in northern County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Its construction began in 1965 and it was named after the first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland: James Craig, 1st Viscount Craigavon. It was intended to be the heart of a new linear city incorporating Lurgan and Portadown, but this plan was mostly abandoned and later described as having been flawed. Among local people today, "Craigavon" refers to the area between the two towns. It is built beside a pair of artificial lakes and is made up of a large residential area (Brownlow), a second smaller one (Mandeville), plus a central area (Highfield) that includes a substantial shopping centre, a courthouse and the district council headquarters. The area around the lakes is a public park and wildlife haven made up of woodland with walking trails. There is also a watersports centre, golf course and ski slope in the area. In most of Craigavon, motor vehicles are completely separated from pedestrians, and roundabouts are used extensively. It hosted the headquarters of the former Craigavon Borough Council.
Lurgan Celtic Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club based in Lurgan, County Armagh, that currently plays in the Mid-Ulster Football League Junior Division 2. The club was founded in 1970 and plays in a strip based on Scottish team Celtic. On 15 August 2019, Lurgan Celtic announced that its senior side would withdraw from the NIFL and implement new youth academy structures, with a view to restarting its senior teams for the 2020-21 season. Lurgan Celtic resumed senior football activities at the bottom of the Mid-Ulster Football League pyramid, upon the commencement of the 2020-21 season.
Banbridge Town Football Club is an intermediate football club from Northern Ireland playing in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League. The club, founded in 1947, hails from Banbridge, County Down and plays its home matches at Crystal Park. Club colours are red and black. In 2014, the club merged with Banbridge A.F.C. Ronald Joseph McFall MBE is a former football player and former manager of NIFL Premiership sides Glentoran and Portadown. He was most notably manager of hometown club Portadown for 29 years from December 1986 until his resignation in March 2016. At the time of his resignation he was the longest-serving manager in European club football, having held the record ever since Alex Ferguson stood down as Manchester United manager in 2013. He had two spells managing Glentoran, between 1979 and 1984 and 2018 and 2019.

Camlough Rovers Football Club is a junior-level football club situated in Newry, County Armagh and playing in the Carnbane League. The club was founded in 1980 and are known for wearing the traditional colours of Green and white. Camlough Rovers secured the Intermediate B title and promotion to Intermediate A in 2010-11 winning the league by a narrow margin of one single point, this was achieved in Gary Quinn's first season as first team manager. In the following season Camlough's first year in Intermediate A, was definitely one to remember, winning it in their first season after being promoted from Intermediate B. Camlough Rovers first played in Northern Ireland's biggest cup competition the JJB Irish Cup on Saturday 18 September 2010 against Lurgan Town Boys Camlough Rovers won the game 5–2 with goals from S. Hughes x3, D. Monaghan and M. McCormack making it a debut win to the competition, and followed this win with a brilliant performance in the second round, overcoming Barn United FC beating them 2–0, with goals from S. Kane and D. Monaghan. In 2019 the club dropped from intermediate into junior football. During its time as an intermediate club, it played in the Irish Cup.
