"A.M. 180" was featured prominently in the 2002 British film 28 Days Later . It is used as the opening theme music for the BBC Four television series, Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe . [2] The song was used in a 2009 Dodge Journey advertisement. [3] "A.M. 180" features in the "Eddsworld" episode, "Hello Hellhole". [4] Belgian Indie rock band Girls In Hawaii regularly cover the song live, citing Grandaddy's 2003 set at Pukkelpop as paramount to their development as a band. [5] Canadian pop punk band PUP released a cover version of the song in August 2020. [6]

Scandal is an all-female Japanese rock band from Osaka. Formed in August 2006 by four high school girls, they played live street performances until they were noticed and signed to the indie label Kitty Records. Although all four members have provided lead vocals, their primary roles are Haruna on vocals and rhythm guitar, Mami on lead guitar, Tomomi on bass guitar, and Rina on drums. In 2008, they released three singles and a mini-album while simultaneously touring the United States, France, and Hong Kong. PUP is a Canadian rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario in 2010, originally under the name Topanga. PUP's self-titled debut album was released on October 8, 2013, on Royal Mountain Records. In December 2013, PUP signed with SideOneDummy Records and re-released their debut album in the United States on April 8, 2014. The group was in the studio in late 2015 recording their second album The Dream Is Over which was released on May 27, 2016, through SideOneDummy. The band's third album, titled Morbid Stuff, was released on April 5, 2019. This Place Sucks Ass, a six-track EP, was released on October 27, 2020.

Genevieve (musician) American singer-songwriter

Genevieve Schatz, better known simply as Genevieve, is an American indie pop singer and songwriter from Elgin, Illinois, United States. Schatz is the frontwoman of Chicago indie rock band Company of Thieves and embarked on her solo career as Genevieve in early 2014. Her first solo track, "Show Your Colors", premiered on Vice Noisey in December 2014. Her debut EP Show Your Colors was released on March 10, 2015, via Wind-up Records.
