"ADHD" [1] is a 2006 single by Blood Red Shoes, and was the first to feature an accompanying video featuring the band. Both the A-side and the B-side tracks continued to be played live by the band as late as 2008. As with their previous singles, the release was a limited edition vinyl only. "ADHD" was regularly used by the band to close their live shows, becoming a common encore song due to calls from the audience. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Drowned in Sound rated the single 9/10, describing it as "one of the brashest and best singles of two-zero-zero-six thus far", [5] while musicOMH called it "a marvellous bloody, pop punk death frenzy". [6]

Meltdown is the fourth studio album by Irish rock band Ash. It was released on 17 May 2004, through Infectious Records. Following the success of their third studio album, Free All Angels (2001), the band debuted several new songs on tour throughout 2003. By October, they travelled to Los Angeles, California to record the follow-up. Co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz and the band, the sessions were held at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, and Chalice Studios in Hollywood. Described as an hard rock album, Meltdown drew comparison to the Smashing Pumpkins, with guitarwork that recalled acts such as Black Sabbath and Metallica.

The Bravery

The Bravery was an American rock band formed in New York City in 2003 that consisted of lead vocalist Sam Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, keyboardist John Conway, bassist Mike Hindert and drummer Anthony Burulcich. They released three studio albums: The Bravery (2005), The Sun and the Moon (2007) and Stir the Blood (2009). They also released a remixed edition of its second album called The Sun and the Moon Complete in 2008 and an Internet live album called Live at the Wiltern Theater in 2010. Their music can be best described as post-punk dance-influenced rock and roll.

The band is composed of Robin Hawkins on vocals, bass and synthesisers, James Frost on guitar, synthesisers, backing vocals and occasional bass, Iwan Griffiths on drums and Paul Mullen on vocals, guitar and synthesiser – since 2007. ¡Forward, Russia! are an English alternative rock band from Leeds, active from between 2004 and 2008, before reforming in 2013. The band's debut album, Give Me a Wall, was released in 2006. Until 2006, the band only named tracks with numbers, in the order that they were written. The band had used Faux Cyrillic, with its name occasionally typeset as ¡FФЯWДЯD, RUSSIД!. The band went on hiatus after the release of their second album, Life Processes, in 2008. They reformed in 2013 for a show at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds in November 2013 for its 100th anniversary, and then played the Live at Leeds Festival at Leeds Town Hall in 2014.

Dimension (song)

"Dimension" is a song by Australian hard rock band Wolfmother. Written by band members Andrew Stockdale, Chris Ross and Myles Heskett, it was produced by Dave Sardy for the group's self-titled debut album in 2005. The song was also released as the third single from the album on 17 April 2006, and as the lead track on the EP Dimensions. The song reached number 38 on the Scottish Singles Chart, number 49 on the UK Singles Chart and number 1 on the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart.

Los Campesinos!

Los Campesinos! are a seven-piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University. Though the band formed in Wales, none of the members are Welsh. The band has gone through several lineup changes during their career, with their current lineup consisting of Gareth David, Neil Beale (guitar), Tom Bromley (guitar), Rob Taylor, Kim David, Matt Fidler (bass) and Jason Adelinia (drums); the members replace their surnames with "Campesinos" as stage names. Blood Red Shoes are an English alternative rock duo from Brighton consisting of Laura-Mary Carter and Steven Ansell. They have released five full-length albums, Box of Secrets (2008), Fire Like This (2010), In Time to Voices (2012), Blood Red Shoes (2014) and Get Tragic (2019) as well as several EPs and a number of singles. In 2014, they founded their own label, Jazz Life.

The single was a double A-side release, however "Stitch Me Back" endured as the more prominent of the two songs, as it continued to be played live by the band during their album release tour in 2008.

Its Getting Boring by the Sea

"It's Getting Boring by the Sea" is a single by the English band Blood Red Shoes released on 4 June 2007. The B-side's title was eventually used as the title for the band's debut album, released in 2008. The single was favourably received, getting an 8/10 rating from Drowned in Sound. "It's Getting Boring by the Sea" was described by Gigwise.com as "a homage to the band's love-hate relationship with Brighton". The NME described the lead track: "The small-town rage of ‘It’s Getting Boring By The Sea’ hurtles along like a renegade V2-rocket on an unstoppable arc that ends at Brighton Pier". The song was also featured in the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World movie soundtrack and Series 3 of the UK TV show Misfits, as well as the 2016 French-Belgian film Raw.

Box of Secrets is the debut album by English rock band Blood Red Shoes, which was released on 14 April 2008 on the Mercury Records label. The album was leaked to the internet during November 2007.

O Fracas were an English indie/alternative rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire. They originally formed in 2001 and were active until 2009. They are sometimes regarded as members of the New Yorkshire music scene and appeared regularly alongside other hotly tipped local bands including ¡Forward, Russia!, This Et Al, The Sunshine Underground, The Pigeon Detectives and Wild Beasts. During promotional tours, the band supported Mystery Jets, The Young Knives and The Noisettes, also making appearances at Leeds Festival in 2005 and 2006.

Fire Like This is the second album by Brighton-based rock band Blood Red Shoes, released on 1 March 2010 in the UK and Europe through V2 Records. The album was recorded and mixed in late summer 2009 as a co-production with Mike Crossey, and was preceded by the free download single "Colours Fade", which was released on their website on 25 November 2009, and "Light It Up", which was released on 7" vinyl and via download on 22 February 2010. In January 2010, Blood Red Shoes started putting songs on their website for streaming one by one. By 26 February, the entire album was available to listen to on the site. The album was released in the USA and Canada on 12 October 2010.

In Time To Voices is the third album by the Brighton, England-based rock band Blood Red Shoes, released on 26 March 2012 in the UK and Europe through V2 Records. The album was recorded and mixed in Autumn 2011 as a co-production with Mike Crossey, and was preceded by the singles "Cold" on 19 March 2012 and the title track "In Time to Voices" on 23 August 2012.

Blood Red Shoes is the fourth album by Brighton-based rock band Blood Red Shoes, released on 3 March 2014 in the UK and Europe through Jazz Life Records. The album was recorded over a 6-month period in Berlin and was entirely self-produced and engineered by the band themselves. The first song from the album, "The Perfect Mess", was released on 1 December 2013, after 10 QR codes were found in different cities by the band's fans.
