Acidic leucine-rich nuclear phosphoprotein 32 family member D is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ANP32D gene. [3] [4] [5]
Phosphoprotein 32 (PP32) is a tumor suppressor that can inhibit several types of cancers, including prostate and breast cancers. The protein encoded by this gene is one of at least two proteins that are similar in amino acid sequence to PP32 and are part of the same acidic nuclear phosphoprotein gene family. However, unlike PP32, the encoded protein is tumorigenic. The tumor suppressor function of PP32 has been localized to a 25 amino acid region that is absent in the protein encoded by this gene. This gene does not contain introns. [5]
A fusion gene is a hybrid gene formed from two previously independent genes. It can occur as a result of translocation, interstitial deletion, or chromosomal inversion. Fusion genes have been found to be prevalent in all main types of human neoplasia. The identification of these fusion genes play a prominent role in being a diagnostic and prognostic marker.
Amphiregulin, also known as AREG, is a protein synthesized as a transmembrane glycoprotein with 252 aminoacids and it is encoded by the AREG gene. in humans.
Proline-, glutamic acid- and leucine-rich protein 1 (PELP1) also known as modulator of non-genomic activity of estrogen receptor (MNAR) and transcription factor HMX3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PELP1 gene. is a transcriptional corepressor for nuclear receptors such as glucocorticoid receptors and a coactivator for estrogen receptors.
Acidic leucine-rich nuclear phosphoprotein 32 family member A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ANP32A gene. It is one of the targets of an oncomiR, MIRN21.
RAC-gamma serine/threonine-protein kinase is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the AKT3 gene.
MAX-interacting protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MXI1 gene.
60S acidic ribosomal protein P2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RPLP2 gene.
Speckle-type POZ protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SPOP gene.
Inhibitor of growth protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ING2 gene.
Polycomb group RING finger protein 2, PCGF2, also known as MEL18 or RNF110, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PCGF2 gene.
Developmentally-regulated GTP-binding protein 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the DRG1 gene.
Acidic leucine-rich nuclear phosphoprotein 32 family member B (ANP32B) also known as "acidic protein rich in leucines" (APRIL) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ANP32B gene.
60S ribosomal protein L19 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RPL19 gene.
Zinc transporter ZIP1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC39A1 gene.
Protein CBFA2T3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CBFA2T3 gene.
Acidic leucine-rich nuclear phosphoprotein 32 family member E is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ANP32E gene. The ANP32E gene is located on chromosome 1q22. In mammalian cells, ANP32E has been shown to be an H2A.Z chaperone capable of promoting the removal of H2A.Z from chromatin. In brain tissue, ANP32E together with Cpd1 regulate protein phosphatase 2A activity at synapses during synaptogenesis and has been observed to form a complex with ANP32A and SET that stabilizes short-lived mRNAs containing AU-rich elements, as well as having acetyltransferase inhibitory activity and having a role in chromatin remodeling and transcriptional regulation.
Tumor suppressor candidate 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TUSC3 gene.
Protein CIP2A also known as cancerous inhibitor of PP2A (CIP2A) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KIAA1524 gene.
