A Triple Dose of Punk [1] is an internationally distributed compilation album mostly of hardcore punk artists from the USA and the UK. It was first released in 1999 as a 3 CD, 60 song box set. The album was compiled by Cleopatra Records.

Contents

Disc One is a reissue of the 1995 !Action Pact! compilation The Punk Singles Collection, originally released by Captain Oi!. Disc Two is a reissue of the 1996 GBH live album Celebrity Live Style, also released on vinyl as Punked In The O.C. (Live At The Celebrity Theater 1988), both from Cleopatra. Disc Three reissues The Punk, The Bad & The Ugly , a Cleopatra compilation from 1997.

Thats Too Bad

"That's Too Bad" is the debut single by Tubeway Army, the band which provided the initial musical vehicle for Gary Numan. It was released in February 1978 by independent London record label Beggars Banquet. On the day of its release, Numan quit his job in a warehouse to become a professional musician.

The Ugly Ducklings were a five-piece garage rock group based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, most notable during the mid 1960s.

New Red Archives is an independent record label based in California's San Francisco Bay Area, mainly home to punk rock bands. Started in 1987, the label began by releasing punk and hardcore punk records on coloured vinyl. Starting in summer 1990 after a re-location from Brooklyn, the label was based out of Hollywood. In 1996 The label signed an exclusive distribution deal with Dutch East India Trading. By 1998 the label had moved to San Francisco. Starting in the early 2000s the label released CDs as well as vinyl, through the distribution company Lumberjack Mordam Music Group.

Captain Oi! Records is a punk rock and Oi! record label based in High Wycombe, England. The company has released over 300 albums by many notable punk and Oi! bands of the late 1970s and 1980s. The label was set up by Mark Brennan, former bassist of The Business, who had previously co-run Link Records and the Dojo subsidiary of Castle Records. Brennan's inspiration had been Ace Records, with Captain Oi! targeted at being "the Ace Records of retro punk rock", reissuing material by classic punk bands.

The Outcasts are a punk rock band from Belfast, Northern Ireland formed in 1977.

The Forgotten (band) American punk rock band

The Forgotten is an American punk rock band based in San Jose, California. The Forgotten have toured the US, Canada, Europe and Japan numerous times and continue to perform live occasionally. Members appear every year at Punk Rock Bowling Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada.
