She is referred to in the Philippines as the Queen of Pinoy Popular Culture and is often regarded as one of the most successful multimedia artists in Philippine entertainment and is penned as the original Multimedia Superstar.

Covers, Volume 2 is the 13th studio album by Filipino singer-actress Regine Velasquez, released on January 30, 2006, by Viva Records in the Philippines in CD format and in digital download. The album contains different music genres including jazz and blues which is new to Velasquez' repertoire. It is her third cover album from Viva after R2K (1999) and Covers, Vol. 1 (2004), and includes covers of songs by Al Green, Paul McCartney and Wings, Blondie and Alanis Morissette among others. The first single released is Hold Me In Your Arms originally done by the Southern Sons. The album was certified platinum a month after its release.

Listen Without Prejudice is the debut international studio album and sixth studio album overall of Filipina singer-actress Regine Velasquez. It was released in 1994 in the Philippines by Polycosmic Records and distributed there by Mercury Records; in other parts of Asia, including Hong Kong, Japan, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and Thailand, the album was released by PolyGram Records. Velasquez was the second Filipina artist to be signed on an international record label; the first was Lea Salonga, through Atlantic Records in 1993. The album's lead single "In Love With You" features Cantonese singer Jacky Cheung. Listen Without Prejudice has sold more than 700,000 copies worldwide, including 100,000 in the Philippines, making it the best-selling album of Velasquez's career to date.
Gamma Ray is the debut EP by Gamma Ray, a musical project by former Kyuss guitarist Josh Homme, released in 1996 by Man's Ruin Records. After the breakup of Kyuss in 1995, Homme recorded the Gamma Ray material in Seattle with producer Chris Goss, bassist Van Conner, and drummer Victor Indrizzo. Former Kyuss singer John Garcia contributed backing vocals to the track "Born to Hula". After the release of the EP, Homme received a cease and desist order because the name Gamma Ray was already in use by a German power metal band. He changed the name of the project to Queens of the Stone Age, and both of the Gamma Ray tracks were re-released the following year by Man's Ruin on the Kyuss / Queens of the Stone Age split EP, which featured some of the final studio recordings by Kyuss and debuted the "Queens of the Stone Age" moniker for Homme's new project. The split EP also included a third track from the Gamma Ray recording sessions, "Spiders and Vinegaroons".

Jolina is the second studio album by Filipino singer and actress Jolina Magdangal released by Star Music on January 9, 1999. The album consists mostly of passionate, easy-listening love songs, a style of music quite popular in the Philippines. Five of the tracks on the album were originally used as soundtrack in various movies she starred to which include "Tameme" and "Sana'y Kapiling Ka" in the film F.L.A.M.E.S.: The Movie (1997), the re-recorded "T.L. Ako Sa'yo" and her cover of "Tulak Ng Bibig, Kabig Ng Dibdib" in Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo! (1998), and "Kapag Ako Ay Nagmahal" in Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang? (1998). The only American song remake in the album is the studio recording of Anita Bryant-original "Paper Roses" which Magdangal sung on a drama anthology television program, Maalaala Mo Kaya.
On Memory Lane is the third studio album of singer-actress Jolina Magdangal released by Star Music on January 23, 2000. The album consists entirely of remakes of originals from the 1950s and 1960s. All but one song are covers of international tunes, while "Sweet Sixteen" is the only Filipino remake. At the time of its release, remakes of international songs were trendy in the Philippines and other artists also had success with covers. Magdangal joined the bandwagon through this album, but instead of exploring the music mines of the '80s and the '70s as most artists did that time, she traipsed across the '50s and the '60s. In its packaging, not only that she is also costumed and made-up as a World War II beauty on the cover but is also photographed in other period costumes inside the booklet.
Jolina Sings the Masters is the fourth studio album by Filipino singer-actress Jolina Magdangal released by Star Music on August 15, 2002. The album consists of 15 songs mostly ballads, with some come with a light pop lilt. The album's title refers to the songwriters who contributed songs to the collection, whose works have become contemporary classics in Philippine music industry earning them the right to be referred to as masters. The album took eight months to finish due to Magdangal's concert tours around the Philippines and in major cities around the world.

The film, which was entirely shot at Baguio, stars Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin in their third film together as love team partner, and are joined by Hilda Koronel, Ronaldo Valdez and Gina Pareño. The film became a movie reference for best friends falling in love with each other. In January 2017, the film was digitally restored and remastered by the ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project.
Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo! is a 1998 romantic-comedy and drama film released by Star Cinema directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng. It stars Maricel Soriano, William Martinez, Jolina Magdangal, and Marvin Agustin. The film was a reunion movie of Soriano and Martinez whose tandem was first seen in the drama film Oh, My Mama! (1981) but were popularized by romantic comedy films such as Galawgaw (1982) and I Love You, I Hate You (1983). They are joined by Magdangal and Agustin, in their first full-length film together, whose tandem first appeared in the segment Tameme of the twin-bill film FLAMES: The Movie (1997), almost 7 months later since it was released in July. The film was initially entitled Pag-Ibig Mo, Pag-Ibig Ko.
Hey Babe! is a 1999 Filipino romantic comedy film released by Star Cinema directed by Joyce Bernal. It stars Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin. This was the last love team movie with Magdangal and Agustin and also a spin-off of Labs Ko Si Babe.
Annie B. is a 2004 musical and romantic-comedy film released by Viva Films directed by Louie Ignacio. It stars Jolina Magdangal with Dingdong Dantes, Jordan Herrera, Gloria Romero, Amy Austria, and Sarah Geronimo.
