Abandoned Mansion is the ninth studio album by psychedelic rock band Dr. Dog. It was released on November 29, 2016, and is the band's first on the We Buy Gold Records record label. [1] The album was produced and engineered by Nathan Sabatino and recorded in 2014 in the band's Mt. Slippery studio in Clifton Heights, PA. [2]

Album information

On November 29, 2016, Dr. Dog dropped a surprise album on Bandcamp titled Abandoned Mansion. The album was made available to stream for free and all proceeds received through January 31, 2017 would benefit the Southern Poverty Law Center. [3]

Träd, Gräs & Stenar is a Swedish rock band formed in 1969, from previous incarnations Pärson Sound, International Harvester and Harvester. The group was one of the front acts of the Swedish progg scene, although noticeably less political than their contemporary counterparts. Their sound has been described as raw, psych rock jam, by the writer David Pescovitz, who also notes the band would invite their audiences to improvise and collaborate.

A Lot Like Birds was an American post-hardcore band formed in Sacramento, California. The band released four albums and received considerable media attention from music sites. Since the release of 2011's Conversation Piece, A Lot Like Birds signed to Equal Vision Records and released their third studio album on October 29, 2013. It is the band's fourth release on the Anti- record label, and is a revamped version of their unreleased debut LP. The album was produced and engineered by Nathan Sabatino.

Hellions are an Australian punk rock band from Sydney, formed in 2013 after the break up of The Bride, in which drummer Anthony Caruso, bassist turned vocalist Dre Faivre and guitarist/vocalist Matt Gravolin continued under a different moniker. They have released four studio albums; their third, Opera Oblivia, was nominated for the 2016 ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album. Gulfer is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They formed in 2011 and are composed of David Mitchell (bass/vocals), Vincent Ford (vocals/guitar), Joe Therriault (guitar/vocals) and Julien Daoust (drums). Their sound makes use of odd time signatures, tapping, clean guitar tones, shifting tonal dynamics, and introspective lyrics. The band's music has similarities to This Town Needs Guns, Sport (France), I Love Your Lifestyle (Sweden), Tangled Hair, You Blew It and Dryjacket. The band has released three albums and several EPs and splits. In March 2018 they released their second studio album Dog Bless, and in 2020 their third, self-titled album.

Critical Equation is the tenth album by American psychedelic rock band Dr. Dog. It was released on April 27, 2018 on the Thirty Tigers label. The album was met with generally favorable reviews, reaching 68 on Metacritic.
