The 1984 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XIV Olympic Winter Games and commonly known as Sarajevo '84, was a winter multi-sport event held between 8 and 19 February 1984 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. It was the first Winter Olympic Games held in a Slavic language-speaking country, as well as the only Winter Olympics held in a communist country before the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. It was the second consecutive Olympic Games to be so held, after the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union.
The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion[ˈkilstaːdijɔn]) was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, weightlifting and korfball (demonstration) events. Following the Olympics it was converted to a football stadium. Its current tenant is K Beerschot VA, a Belgian football club. There are no remnants of the Olympic athletics track.
Water polo has been part of the Summer Olympics program since the second games, in 1900. A women's water polo tournament was introduced for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Hungary has been the most successful country in men's tournament, while the United States is the only team to win multiple times at the women's tournament since its introduction. Italy is the first and only country to win both the men's and women's water polo tournaments.
Finland first participated at the Olympic Games in 1908, and has sent athletes to compete in every Summer Olympic Games and every Winter Olympic Games since then. Finland was also the host nation for the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Finnish athletes have won a total of 305 medals at the Summer Games, mostly in athletics and wrestling. Finland has also won 175 medals at the Winter Games, mostly in nordic skiing events.
Slovenia first participated as an independent nation at the Olympic Games at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, and the country has sent athletes to compete at every Games since then. The Slovenian Olympic Committee was established in 1991 and was recognised by the International Olympic Committee on 5 February 1992.
El Salvador first competed in the Olympic Games at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, Mexico. It has participated in every Games of the Olympiad since that time, excluding those held in 1976 and 1980, when the nation joined the American-led boycott in protest of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. They have never competed in the Olympic Winter Games. El Salvador has not earned a medal at any Olympic Games.
Djibouti has participated in nine Summer Olympic Games as of the completion of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. They have never competed in the Winter Olympic Games. Djibouti debuted at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States of America with three athletes, but did not take home a medal. The highest number of Djiboutian athletes participating in a summer Games is eight in the 1992 games in Barcelona, Spain. Only one Djiboutian athlete has ever won a medal at the Olympics, marathon runner Hussein Ahmed Salah, who won a bronze medal in the 1988 marathon.

The 1962 World Rowing Championships were the inaugural world championships in rowing. The competition was held in September 1962 on the Rotsee in Lucerne, Switzerland. Rowers from West Germany dominated the competition, winning five of the seven boat classes.

Raybak Melk Abdesselem, also known as Raybak Abdesselem is a French Karate Champion. He has won 2 gold medals in the Gold European championship which was held in Aalborg Denmark in 2019 in Finland, and Gold European Championship in Tampere Finland U21 in 2021. Raybak won two silver medals in World Championship U21 Chile in Santiago in 2019, and European Championship U21 in Budapest Hungry in 2020. Raybak also won one bronze medal in European Championship Junior in Sotchi Russia in 2018. Raybak was the participant in Men's French team for the European Karate Championships in 2019 in Porec, Croatia and ranked 5th.
Farouk Abdesselem is a French Karateka and a national coach of the Indonesian Karate team. Holder of -84 kilogram, Farouk has represented France in several championships of the World European championship, and European games. He won the bronze medal in the Premier League in Lisbon and qualified for the Olympic tournament (TQO) in Paris to represent the French team for Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. In 2022, Farouk became the national coach of the Indonesian Karate team for the 2021 SEA Games which won five gold, six bronze, and three silver medals. Farouk is the 5th in the world in 84 kg Karateka, with multi-medalists at international tournaments.
Tareq Abdesselem is an Olympic Head Coach and a former French Karateka champion. Tareq is the head national coach of team Olympic Kazakhstan for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics Games. He is also a former Thailand and Indonesia national head coach of the Karate team, and a former Athlete French national team. Under his coaching, the Kazakh karate team create a historical performance, by qualifying 5 athletes and winning two bronze medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Games. The only team in the World to qualify complete Men Kumite Athletes in Tokyo.
