Abesim is a town in Sunyani Municipal District in the Bono Region of Ghana. Abesim is very close to the regional capital town of the Bono Region, Sunyani. Abesim is known for the St. James Seminary and Secondary School. It is also known for the Olistar Senior High School and Abesim Senior High School. [1] [2] The school is a second cycle institution. [3]

The Sunyani Nursing and Midwifery Training College is public tertiary health institution in the Sunyani in the Bono Region of Ghana. The is in the Sunyani Municipal District. The activities of the institution is supervised by the Ministry of Health. The University of Ghana awards a Diploma in Nursing after students from the institution have successfully completed a three-year nursing training programme. The institution is accredited by the National Accreditation Board. The Nurses and Midwifery Council (NMC) is the body which regulates the activities, curriculum and examination of the institution. The council's mandate Is enshrined under section 4(1) of N.R.C.D 117.

Jinijini is a town in the Bono Region of Ghana. 'Gyenegyene' is the Akan word for Jinijini which means pure, clear, still. It is the capital town for Berekum West district which was inaugurated on 15 March 2018. It is about 7 km, 39 km and 412 km away from Berekum, Sunyani and Accra respectively. St. James Seminary is a senior high school in Sunyani, the capital of the Bono region of Ghana, founded in 1978 by Most Rev. James Kwadwo Owusu, the late bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sunyani. It is not just a Senior High School, but also a Catholic Minor Seminary which offers a wide range of opportunities for both seminarians and non-Seminarians to make them not only aware of their potentials, but to fulfill them. The school emphasizes moral, spiritual and positive character formation in addition to striving to achieve academic excellence. St. James has been adjudged the best senior high school in Ghana over the past decade having featured consecutively in the list of top ten performing schools in the West African Examinations Council’s Senior School Certificate Exams (WASSCE) over the period.
