Abhijit Prakash Deshpande (born 22 February 1968) is a former Indian cricketer who played for Maharashtra in Indian domestic cricket. He was a right-handed top-order batsman.

From Pune, Deshpande made his first-class debut in December 1986, playing against Saurashtra in the 1986–87 Ranji Trophy. [1] He scored his maiden first-class half-century during the 1990–91 season, making 60 against Gujarat. [2] In the 1991–92 Ranji Trophy, Deshpande scored 465 runs from six games. [3] In the first game of the tournament, against Gujarat, he scored 217 from 329 balls opening the batting with Surendra Bhave, putting on 287 for the second wicket with Santosh Jedhe. [4] In the tournament's quarter-final, against Haryana, he scored 86, [5] but that was his last appearance for Maharashtra. [1]

2016–17 Ranji Trophy congratulations team india

The 2016–17 Ranji Trophy was the 83rd season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. Unlike previous seasons, the 2016–17 tournament was played at neutral venues. Captains and coaches were supportive of the change. Chhattisgarh cricket team made their debut in the competition, becoming the 28th team to compete in this edition of the Ranji Trophy. Mumbai were the defending champions. Gujarat beat Mumbai in the final by 5 wickets to win their first title.

2018–19 Ranji Trophy Cricket tournament

The 2018–19 Ranji Trophy was the 85th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between November 2018 and February 2019. Vidarbha were the defending champions. The final took place between Vidarbha and Saurashtra, starting on 3 February 2019. Vidarbha defeated Saurashtra by 78 runs in the final, to become the sixth team in the tournament's history to retain their title.

2018–19 Ranji Trophy Group A

The 2018–19 Ranji Trophy was the 85th season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament that took place in India. It was contested by 37 teams, divided into four groups, with nine teams in Group A. The group stage ran from 1 November 2018 to 10 January 2019. The top five teams across Group A and Group B progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.

2019–20 Ranji Trophy Group C Cricket tournament

The 2019–20 Ranji Trophy was the 86th season of the Ranji Trophy, the first-class cricket tournament that took place in India. It was contested by 38 teams, divided into four groups, with ten teams in Group C. The group stage ran from 9 December 2019 to 15 February 2020. The top two teams in Group C progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.
