Abigail Forbes (born March 10, 2001) is an American tennis player.
Forbes won the 2019 Wimbledon girls' doubles title with Savannah Broadus, joining three other Americans in the finals of the junior tournaments. [1] On August 10, 2019, she and Alexa Noel won the USTA Girls 18s National Championships in doubles, earning them a wild-card entry into the main draw of the 2019 US Open. [2]
Forbes has a career-high ITF junior combined ranking of No. 16 achieved on October 14, 2019. She began attending UCLA for the fall 2019 semester.
After graduation, she enrolled in the UNC Kenan–Flagler Business School and joined the North Carolina Tar Heels tennis team. [3] She won a national team title in her first season at North Carolina in 2023. [4]

The North Carolina Tar Heels are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The name Tar Heel is a nickname used to refer to individuals from the state of North Carolina, the Tar Heel State. The campus at Chapel Hill is referred to as the University of North Carolina for the purposes of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was chartered in 1789, and in 1795 it became the first state-supported university in the United States. Since the school fostered the oldest collegiate team in the Carolinas, the school took on the nickname Carolina, especially in athletics. The Tar Heels are also referred to as UNC or The Heels.
The North Carolina Tar Heels women's lacrosse team represents the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I women's lacrosse and currently competes as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The North Carolina women's lacrosse team won the ACC tournament in 2002 and their first Division 1 national championship in 2013.

Brian Joseph Kalbas is an American college tennis coach. He has been the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels women's tennis team since 2003. He played college tennis and started his coaching career at the University of Notre Dame before becoming the head women's tennis coach at the College of William & Mary in 1992. He is a three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Coach of the Year and the winningest women's tennis coach in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) history.

She played five years of college tennis for the North Carolina Tar Heels, reaching a peak NCAA Division I singles ranking of No. 1. She reached at least the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships three times. Since turning professional she has played on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, where she has won one singles title and one doubles title.
