The University of Ibadan (UI) is a public research university in Ibadan,Nigeria. The university was once a college of the University of London. The college was established in 1948 as University College Ibadan,one of many colleges within the University of London. It became an independent university in 1962 and is the oldest degree-awarding institution in Nigeria. Through its graduate network,the University of Ibadan has contributed to the political,industrial,economic and cultural development of Nigeria.

Paul University,Awka (PUA) is located in Awka,Anambra State in Nigeria. It is a private Christian University. It was founded in 2009 by Bishops of the five ecclesiastical provinces of the Anglican Church East of the Niger to provide undergraduate training in Arts,Natural and Applied Sciences,Social Sciences and Management. Although,Paul University Awka is a Private University,the Anambra State government under Governor Peter Obi donated cash and vehicles for its infrastructural upgrade and development.
Joy Constance Kwesiga is a Ugandan academic,academic administrator,gender specialist,and community activist. She is the vice chancellor of Kabale University,a public institution of higher education in Uganda and accredited by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education in 2005.
Isaac Folorunso AdewoleFAS is a Nigerian professor of gynaecology and obstetrics. He was minister of health of Nigeria from November 2015 to May 2019 under the Cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari. He is a former vice-chancellor of the University of Ibadan,and president of the African Organisation for Research and Training in Cancer.

Chukwuemeka Jude Diji born 2 December 1966,a Nigerian,Associate professor of Mechanical engineering and Deputy Vice Chancellor:Research,Innovation,Consultancy and Extension (DVC-RICE) for Kampala International University Uganda. He also served as the head of department Mechanical Engineering for the University of Ibadan Nigeria.
Chinyere Stella Okunna is the first female professor in Mass communication in Nigeria. She has served in various capacities as an administrator and educationist in the academia and in the public/political arena. Chinyere Stella Okunna's research interest is in the area of communication for development,particularly women’s development from the perspective of women and the media. She has done considerable work on the role of the media in the effort to empower Nigerian women and improve their condition and status in the patriarchal male-dominated Nigerian society.

Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello is a Nigerian academic. She is a professor of physiology and the 9th Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University.
Kayode Oyebode Adebowale FRSC is a Nigerian professor and scientist and the 13th Vice-chancellor of the University of Ibadan. In October 2021 he became the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan,having formerly served as the deputy vice-chancellor (administration) of the University of Ibadan,and as the dean of the faculty of science in same institution.
