The Abu Dhabi Classic Trophy (formerly the FBMA Trophy) is an annual international figure skating competition which is generally held in January in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. [1] [2] [3] [4] It is the only figure skating competition in the Arab world included on the International Skating Union's calendar. [5] Medals may be awarded in men's singles and women's singles at the senior, junior, and novice levels.

He and Hailey Kops competed at the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy and qualified to compete for Israel at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The 2017 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships was an international figure skating competition in the 2016–17 figure skating season. It was held at the Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea on February 16–19. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition served as the figure skating test event for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Zsolt Kerekes is a Hungarian figure skating coach and former competitor. He is the 1994 Ondrej Nepela Memorial champion, a two-time Karl Schäfer Memorial silver medalist, and a two-time Hungarian national champion.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Emmi Peltonen</span> Finnish figure skater

Emmi Peltonen is a Finnish-American figure skater. She is the 2017 FBMA Trophy champion, the 2020 Nordic silver medalist, and a three-time Finnish national champion. She has finished within the top ten at three European Championships, and represented Finland at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where she finished twentieth.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Aiza Imambek</span> Kazakh figure skater

Aiza Evfratkyzy Imambek or Mambekova is a Kazakh figure skater. She is the 2019 Reykjavik International silver medalist, the 2018 FBMA Trophy bronze medalist, and a five-time Kazakhstani national silver medalist (2014–2018). She represented Kazakhstan at the 2018 Winter Olympics, placing 30th.

National figure skating championships for the 2022–23 season took place mainly from December 2022 to January 2023. They were held to crown national champions and to serve as part of the selection process for international events, such as the 2023 ISU Championships. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. A few countries chose to organize their national championships together with their neighbors; the results were subsequently divided into national podiums.
