Sasi had said that the climax fight scene with the leopard was done by Mammootty himself without dupes.
Aayushkalam (transl. Lifetime) is a 1992 Indian Malayalam-language supernatural drama film directed by Kamal and written by Vinu Kiriyath and Rajan Kiriyath. It stars Mukesh and Jayaram in the lead roles and Sreenivasan in supporting role. The film was a commercial success at the box office. Aayushkalam is based on the Hollywood films Ghost and Heart Condition and was in turn remade in Hindi as Hello Brother.
K. N. Jagannatha Varma was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam film and television industry. He was also a Kathakali artist. His son Manu Varma is also an artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a film director. He acted in a number of Malayalam movies performing roles of a senior police officer, judge or a priest. Some of his noted roles were in movies New Delhi (1987), Thanthram (1988), Lelam (1997) and Pathram (1999), all directed by Joshiy. Varma joined the Kerala Police Force in 1963, before getting active in movies. He retired from the Kerala Police as the Superintendent of Police.
Kalyanaraman is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film directed by Shafi and written by Benny P. Nayarambalam, starring Dileep, Navya Nair and Kunchacko Boban. The plot follows Ramankutty and family who runs a catering service and the events that follows after they take the work of Ambattu Thampi's daughter's wedding. The music was composed by Berny-Ignatius. The film was a blockbuster and developed a cult fan following, especially the character Ponjikkara played by Innocent. The film was remade in Telugu as Kalyana Ramudu (2003).
Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu is a 1988 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy-drama film, written by Raghunath Paleri and directed by Sathyan Anthikad. It stars Sreenivasan, Jayaram, Urvashi, and Innocent in the lead roles. It was Sreenivasan's first role as a hero after Sanghaganam (1979). The film was remade in Hindi in 2010 as Dus Tola.
Rakshasa Rajavu is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language action/crime thriller film written and directed by Vinayan and starring Mammootty in the lead role along with Dileep, Meena, Kalabhavan Mani, Kavya Madhavan, Vijayakumar, Rajan P. Dev, Cochin Haneefa, and Sukumari. The film was released on 31 August 2001 and was subsequently dubbed in Telugu and Tamil as Commissioner Rudrama Naidu and Commissioner Eeswara Paandiyan.

Uppum Mulakum was an Indian Malayalam-language sitcom, that had been broadcast on Flowers from 14 December 2015 to 26 February 2024. The sitcom was created by R. Unnikrishnan, who also directs it, after he returned to the director role in the second season. Uppum Mulakum depicts the everyday life of Balachandran Thampi, his wife Neelima, and their five children. The main cast includes Biju Sopanam, Nisha Sarang, Rishi S. Kumar, Juhi Rustagi, Al Sabith, Shivani Menon, Baby Ameya and Parvathy Ayyappadas. Baby Ameya joined the show as the newborn baby of Balachandran and Neelima in May 2018, when she was four months old and Parvathy Ayyappadas joined the main cast in February 2023, as the wife of elder son Vishnu.
Santhwanam (transl. Consolation) is an Indian Malayalam-language soap opera directed by Aadithyan. The show aired from 21 September 2020 to 27 January 2024 on Asianet and airs on-demand through Disney+ Hotstar. The show topped rating charts and was the most viewed show during its run. It stars Rajeev Parameshwar, Chippy Renjith, Girish Nambiar, Raksha Raj, Sajin TP, Gopika Anil, Achu Sugandh and Manjusha Martin in lead roles. The pair, Shivanjali was lauded by the audience on social media. It is an official remake of Tamil soap opera Pandian Stores, airing on Star Vijay.
