Adam Keefe (born April 26, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward who last played for, and captained, the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). [1] Keefe announced his intention to retire from playing in 2017 and take up the position as Belfast Giants head coach, replacing Derrick Walser. [2] [3]

He appeared sporadically on the ice as injury cover during the 2017–18 EIHL season before retiring completely in 2018. [4]

He is the younger brother of former Tampa Bay Lightning player and current head coach of the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League, Sheldon Keefe.

Keefe is also one of Pete Russell's assistant coaches within the Great Britain set-up, along with Corey Neilson. [5]

Peter Russell is a British ice hockey coach and former goaltender. He is currently the head coach of both the Cardiff Devils in the UK's EIHL and the Great Britain men's national ice hockey team. The 2016–17 Elite Ice Hockey League season was the 14th season of the Elite Ice Hockey League. The regular season begun in early September and ended in March. Regular season champion Cardiff Devils were defeated in the playoff final by their Erhardt Conference rivals Sheffield Steelers 6–5 in double-overtime.

The 2017–18 EIHL season was the 15th season of the Elite Ice Hockey League. The regular season commenced on 9 September 2017 and ended on 25 March 2018. The reigning league champions were the Cardiff Devils, who won the championship for the first time in 2016–17. The Devils retained their regular season title, with a 3–2 victory away at the Belfast Giants on 16 March 2018. The Devils also won the playoff title, beating the Sheffield Steelers – who had defeated the Devils 12 months prior in a 6–5 double overtime game – 3–1 in the final, winning a first playoff title since 1998–99.

Jackson Whistle is a Canadian-born British professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Belfast Giants of the Elite Ice Hockey League and the British national team. He represented Great Britain at the 2019 IIHF World Championship, 2021 IIHF World Championship,2022 IIHF World Championship and 2024 IIHF World Championship.
