Adam Rahayaan is an Indonesian politician who served as mayor of Tual city between 2016 and 2023. He became acting mayor at first on 2016 when the incumbent mayor,M. M. Tamher suddenly died and he as vice mayor took the office in accordance of the law. In 2018 when he decided to run as mayor by himself and was elected. [1] His first full term ended on 31 October 2023,and he was replaced by Akhmad Yani Renuat as acting mayor. [2]
Adam also served as a member of the Regional House of Representatives of Southeast Maluku Regency in 1999 and 2004. [3] He is a member of the Prosperous Justice Party since 1999. [4]

Banjarmasin is a city in South Kalimantan,Indonesia. It was the capital of the province until 15 February 2022. The city is located on a delta island near the junction of the Barito and Martapura rivers. Historically the centre of the Banjarese culture,and the capital of the Sultanate of Banjar,it is the biggest city in South Kalimantan and one of the main cities of Kalimantan. The city covers an area of 98.46 km2 (38.02 sq mi) and had a population of 625,481 as of the 2010 Census and 657,663 as of the 2020 Census;the official estimate as of mid 2023 was 675,915. Ternate,also known as the City of Ternate,is a city in the Indonesian province of North Maluku and an island in the Maluku Islands. It was the de facto provincial capital of North Maluku before Sofifi on the nearby coast of Halmahera became the capital in 2010. It is off the west coast of Halmahera,and is composed of eight islands:Ternate,the biggest and main island of the city,and Moti,Hiri,Tifure,Mayau,Makka,Mano,and Gurida. In total,the city has a land area of 162.20 square kilometres and had a total population of 185,705 according to the 2010 census,and 205,001 according to the 2020 census,with a density of 1,264 people per square kilometre;the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 204,920. It is the biggest and most densely populated city in the province,as well as the economic,cultural,and education center of North Maluku,and acts as a hub to neighbouring regions. It was the capital of the Sultanate of Ternate in the 15th and 16th centuries,and fought against the Sultanate of Tidore over control of the spice trade in the Moluccas before becoming a main interest to competing European powers.
Gunungsitoli is a city located in North Sumatra province,Indonesia,on the Indian Ocean island of Nias,west of Sumatra. Gunungsitoli is the island's only city and is the main hub for the island and surrounding smaller islands. Located on the north-eastern side of Nias island,the city was historically a series of fortifications made by the Dutch colonial administration in the 1600s to defend against frequent raids from Nias tribes,especially those from southern parts of the island. Until 1914,it was the only part of the island that was effectively controlled by the Dutch.
