Catherine Astrid Salome Freeman is an Aboriginal Australian former sprinter, who specialised in the 400 metres event. Her personal best of 48.63 seconds currently ranks her as the ninth-fastest woman of all time, set while finishing second to Marie-José Pérec's number-four time at the 1996 Olympics. She became the Olympic champion for the women's 400 metres at the 2000 Summer Olympics, at which she lit the Olympic Flame.
Patrick Johnson is an Australian athlete of Aboriginal and Irish descent. He is the current Oceanian and Australian record holder in the 100 metres with a time of 9.93 seconds, which he achieved in Mito, Japan, on 5 May 2003. With that time he became the first person not of African ancestry to break the 10-second barrier. The time made him the 17th fastest man in history at the time and 38th man to crack the 10-second barrier. He was regarded as the fastest man of non-African descent before Christophe Lemaitre ran 9.92 seconds in French National Championships in Albi on 29 July 2011.
Joshua James Ross is an indigenous Australian track and field sprinter. He was national 100-metre (100m) champion for several years and competed for Australia at the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Ross is the fourth fastest Australian of all time with a personal best time of 10.08 seconds achieved on 10 March 2008, after Patrick Johnson, Rohan Browning and Matt Shirvington.
Blair Robert Hopping is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed The Black Sticks, in 2000 against Pakistan. He competed for New Zealand at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
Samantha Linette Pearl Riley is an Australian breaststroke swimmer of Aboriginal descent who competed for Australia in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, winning three medals. She trained under Scott Volkers at the Commercial Swimming Club in Brisbane.
Adrian Peter Metcalfe was a British athlete and broadcaster. He set a UK record for the 400m in 1961 and won silver relay medals at the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, the 1962 European Athletics Championships and the 1964 Summer Olympics. He moved into broadcasting, first as a commentator, then as head of sport at Channel 4 and then at Eurosport. He held roles at the International Olympic Committee and International Association of Athletics Federations and was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to sport in 2001.
Adrian Blincoe is a New Zealand middle-distance runner. In July 2008 he set the New Zealand record in the 5000m, running 13:10.19.

Anthony Little is an Australian amateur lightweight boxer. Little is a left-handed boxer from Geraldton, Western Australia who started boxing at the age of 13. He was named Aboriginal Sports Star of the Year in 2000, 2001 and 2002 and was the first indigenous boxer from Western Australia to compete at the Olympics.
Benn Harradine is a retired Australian discus thrower who competed at three consecutive Olympic Games, starting in 2008.
Bradley Arthur Hore is an Indigenous Australian male boxer who represented his country and his peoples as a 2 x Olympic & Commonwealth Games athlete. Hore turned pro on 27 July 2012 and competed as a professional in the Super Bantamweight and Super Flyweight divisions. He holds the WBF Superfly Title, WBU Australasian Superfly title and is a Queensland Bantamweight Champion. Hore, retired from his professional boxing career in 2016 after starting the charity "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" which raises awareness against drug & alcohol induced violence.

He also represented Australia on the senior men's team, winning a gold medal with the side at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and the 2010 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy. He was part of the 2012 Olympic team that won the bronze medal.
David McKeon is an Australian competition swimmer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, he competed in the men's 400-metre freestyle, finishing in 14th place in the heats, failing to reach the final.

Michael Henry George Ah Matt was an Indigenous Australian professional basketball player. He played for the Australian national basketball team at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
