Adrian Roy Turner (born 21 January 1977) is a British former male Olympic swimmer, known for winning silver and bronze medals representing England at the 2002 Commonwealth Games and reaching the semi-final of the Athens 2004 Games. [1]
Turner represented Great Britain on numerous occasions during his swimming career principally the 2004 Athens Olympic Games where he swam both individual medley events and reached the semi-final stage of the 200m. [1]
Previously Turner had competed at two Commonwealth Games; he represented England in the individual medley events, at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. [2] [3]
Four years later at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, he represented England in the 200m individual medley finishing in silver medal position in a time of 2:02.10 and the 400m individual medley finishing with bronze in 4:18.75. [4]
After retiring from international swimming Turner joined up with Olympic teammate Stephen Parry to found Total Swimming Ltd. The vision of the company is "Revolutionizing Swimming, Changing Lives."
Following the 2004 Athens Olympic Games Turner attended the Universita` per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy, where he studied a post-graduate course in the history of Italian theatre from 2004 to 2005. He is fluent in Italian. Following this he attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, completing a Masters in Text and Performance from 2005 to 2006. In 2010 he joined the cast of BBC drama The Cut in a recurring role as Coach Reynolds. In the same year he was cast in the lead role in Nice Shirt Films' international Vicks Sinex ad-campaign. From 2010 to 2012 he played Championship footballer Danny Deans in Big Balls Films/WeRInteractive's video-game 'I Am Playr' which was nominated for a BAFTA in 2012 and won the Cannes Golden Lion Award the same year.
He is the brother of TV presenter Beverley Turner and previously brother-in-law of Olympic rower James Cracknell. [1] [5]

Robert Woodhouse is an Australian former competition swimmer who specialised in medley swimming. He is now a prominent sports agent and company director. Woodhouse and Brendon Smith are the only Australian men to have won an Olympic medal in an individual medley event. He was awarded the Australian Sports Medal in 2000.
Stephen Benjamin Parry is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. He competed internationally in 100-metre and 200-metre butterfly events.
Nicholas Gillingham, is an English former competitive swimmer, active in the 1980s and 1990s. Born in Walsall, he represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA World championships and European championships, as well as representing England in the Commonwealth Games. Medalling in two Olympic Games in 1988 and 1992, he was a World, European and Commonwealth champion in his specialist event, the 200 metres breaststroke. His career broadly overlapped with fellow British breaststroker and Olympic 100 metre breaststroke champion, Adrian Moorhouse.

Andrew David Jameson is an English sports commentator and former competitive swimmer. At his peak between 1986 and 1988 he won the gold medal in 100 metre butterfly at the 1986 Commonwealth Games, the 1987 European Aquatics Championships and the 1987 Summer Universiade, as well as the 100 metre freestyle gold at the same Universiade. Winning the bronze medal at the 1986 World Aquatics Championships, Jameson's career in the pool culminated in winning the bronze medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics, his second and final Olympic Games.

She won a silver medal in the 400-metre individual medley at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a time of 4:47.69. Warden was also a member of the swimming team, and a graduate of the University of Toronto.
James George Guy is an English competitive swimmer who specialises in freestyle and butterfly. Guy has won multiple gold medals at each of the major international meets available to him, including for Great Britain at the Olympic Games (2), the World (5) and European Championships (7), and England in the Commonwealth Games (2). In addition to further medals in those events, he has also reached the podium at both the World and European short-course championships. Luke Greenbank is an English professional swimmer who specialises in backstroke. A medalist in the 200 metre backstroke at the Olympic Games and the World and European championships, he also swam the first leg in the 2019 World and 2020 European Championship gold medal-winning Great Britain medley relay teams. He won a silver medal as lead-off for Great Britain in the 4 x 100 metre medley relay for men at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He won a gold medal as lead-off for England in the heats of the 4 x 100 metre medley relay for men at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
