Adventures in Voice Acting is a 2008 documentary DVD produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment, featuring interviews from actors and crew members on the craft of voice acting. It was initially released as a set of DVDs, and has since been adapted into workshops and classes around the U.S.

Summary

Adventures in Voice Acting contains interviews up to 100 voice actors, producers, and casting directors that are in anime dubs and video games. The DVD was released on July 3, 2008, after first of three volumes were released at Anime Expo. It took three years to complete, from concept to release, [1] and was created by Bang Zoom to answer many questions they received from people wanted to know how to become a voice actor. [2] Each episode is introduced by the animated character Mr. Mic, which was designed specifically for the documentary.

Workshops

Since the release of the video documentary, Bang Zoom has provided multi-day workshops for prospective voice actors. They are taught by some of the industry veterans such as Tony Oliver, Crispin Freeman, Ruth Lambert, and Lex Lang, and some have been taught at various locales around the United States. Some of Bang Zoom's current voice actors / members have been participants in the program, including: Marin Miller, Lauren Landa, and Cristina Vee. [3]

<i>The Ripping Friends</i> Animated television series

The Ripping Friends: The World's Most Manly Men! is an animated television series created by John Kricfalusi, creator of The Ren & Stimpy Show on Nickelodeon. The series aired for one season on Fox Kids, premiering on September 22, 2001 and ending on January 26, 2002. The show was subsequently picked up for syndication by Adult Swim, where it reran from 2002 to 2004. The show occasionally airs in Canada on Teletoon. The show also aired briefly in the United Kingdom on the CNX channel and on ABC in Australia.

<i>Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends</i> American animated television series

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network. It was produced by Cartoon Network Studios as the network's first show animated primarily with Adobe Flash, which was done both by Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank and in Ireland by Boulder Media. Set in a world in which imaginary friends coexist with humans, the series centers on Mac, an eight-year-old boy who is pressured by his mother to abandon his imaginary friend Bloo. After the duo discover an orphanage dedicated to housing abandoned imaginary friends, Bloo moves into the home and is kept from adoption as long as Mac visits him every day. The episodes revolve around Mac and Bloo as they interact with other imaginary friends and house staff and live out their day-to-day adventures, often getting caught up in various predicaments.

She also performed the English version of the main theme of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
