The Aeronautical literary festival (in French : Salon du livre aéronautique) is a trade fair devoted to aeronautical books and writing created in 2009 [1] and organized each year in Toulouse (campus of ENAC) by the École nationale de l'aviation civile and the ENAC Alumni association. [2]

The event welcomes both large and small publishers and representatives of the book industry. Its originality is to be open to professionals and general public. On one day, numerous meetings are organized with writers, authors, designers, ... The diversity of participants, book signings, discussion topics and activities have helped to make this appointment a great cultural and festive time. [3]

University of Toulouse

The Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Toulouse or INSA Toulouse is one of the 210 Grande Ecole d’Ingénieurs, an engineering school, under the authority of the French Ministry of Education and Research. Situated in Toulouse, this school is one of the 6 state engineering institutes that compose the INSA's network. Created in 1963, it has been a founding member of the University of Toulouse since 2007. Every year, 500 engineers graduate and in 2017, the alumni network is formed by 17,852 engineers (08/2019). Thanks to the diversity of the specializations, these engineers are now present in all economic sectors. Apart from this degree in Engineering, INSA Toulouse's missions are to foster continuous training and scientific research. It also offers various master's degrees and PhD. Diversity and international openness are two values to which INSA Toulouse gives priority: the school is composed of 34% female students, 30% of students are scholarship holders and one out of five students comes from a foreign country. In 2020, INSA Toulouse was ranked 3rd out of 77 French engineering schools offering a 5-year curriculum for the overall ranking, and 2nd out of 77 for academic excellence.

The Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées (IPSA), is a French private grande école in aerospace engineering located at Ivry-sur-Seine, Lyon, Marseille and Toulouse, recognized by the French state since 2010, whose diploma has been accredited by the French Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur since 2011. It was founded in 1961 and has been part of IONIS Education Group since 1998.

The Partnership of a European Group of Aeronautics and Space UniversitieS (PEGASUS) is a network of aeronautical universities in Europe created in order to facilitate student exchanges and collaborative research between universities. It has been originally created by the groupement des écoles aéronautiques françaises in 1998.

The Institut au service du spatial, de ses applications et technologies (ISSAT), is a French association supported by French Ministry of Education, created in 1995 in order to develop the aerospace activities in Toulouse and to help developing the knowledge of aerospace in France and Europe

Marc Houalla is a French public servant. From 28 November 2008 to October 2017, he has been the director-general of the École nationale de l'aviation civile . From November 2017 to February 2018, he was the CEO of Orly Airport. In February 2018, he was nominated CEO of the Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Louis Pailhas was a French public servant. From December 1967 to 1982, he was the director-general of the École nationale de l'aviation civile.

Within France, Technicien aéronautique d'exploitation is a government occupational certification created in 2011. It is a title recognised by the Commission nationale de la certification professionnelle, and recorded as level IV in the National Classification of Levels of Training. Students graduate after completion of training at the École nationale de l'aviation civile.

ENAC Alumni is a nonprofit organization, alumni association created in 1987, and registered in Toulouse, Midi-Pyrénées. Its founding President was Robert Aladenyse.

Federal University of Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées is the association of universities and higher education institutions (ComUE) for institutions of higher education and research in the French region of Midi-Pyrénées.
