The 2011 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an event organised by the International Cricket Council held in Ireland in July, 2011. Ten participants competed for the six remaining places in the 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

The 2011–13 ICC Intercontinental Cup is the sixth edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup, an international first-class cricket tournament between leading associate members of the International Cricket Council. The tournament will run from June 2011 to October 2013. The format has been changed since the 2009–10 edition. The 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was a one-day cricket competition for sixteen international U-19 cricketing teams which was played in the United Arab Emirates. It was the tenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Sixteen nations competed: the ten Test-playing teams, the United Arab Emirates as hosts, and five additional associate and affiliate qualifiers. India entered the tournament as defending champions, having won the title in 2012 in Australia under the captaincy of Unmukt Chand. In the final, South Africa beat Pakistan by six wickets to win the tournament. South Africa captain Aiden Markram was awarded Man of the Series.

The 2013 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier was played in November 2013 in the United Arab Emirates and is a part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series. This edition of the qualifier for the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 was an expanded version comprising ten qualifiers from regional Twenty20 tournaments in addition to the top six finishers of the previous edition. The groups were announced by the ICC on 7 August 2013.

The 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, for the 2016 World Twenty20, was held from 6 to 26 July 2015. The tournament was hosted by both Ireland and Scotland. 51 matches were played among 14 nations, down from 72 matches among 16 nations previously. The tournament formed part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series, with the top six teams going forward to the qualifying round of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament.

ICC Cricket World Cup Associate Warm-up Matches are some cricket matches arranged by the International Cricket Council to Associate Nations for familiarisation of conditions in Australian and New Zealand. The tour is organised for the four qualifying teams to aid their preparation for the 2015 World Cup.

The Dubai Triangular Series was a One Day International cricket tournament held in the United Arab Emirates from 8 to 19 January 2015. It was a tri-nation series between Afghanistan, Ireland and Scotland as a warm-up for the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Ireland finished top of the table after a no result in the final match.

The Afghan cricket team toured Zimbabwe between 8 and 29 October 2015. The tour consisted of five One Day International (ODI) matches, two Twenty20 Internationals (T20I) and two tour matches. This was the first time that Afghanistan had played a five-match bilateral ODI series.

The Afghanistan cricket team toured the West Indies in June 2017 to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs), three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and a tour match. It was Afghanistan's first bilateral tour against a full member nation other than Zimbabwe. Originally the tour was going to consist of five ODIs and three T20Is. The West Indies won the T20I series 3–0. The ODI series was drawn 1–1 after the final match was washed out with no result.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup</span> Cricket tournament

The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in South Africa from 17 January to 9 February 2020. It was the thirteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in South Africa after the 1998 event. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, split into four groups of four. The top two teams from each group advanced to the Super League, with the bottom two teams in each group progressing to the Plate League. India were the defending champions.

The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies in January and February 2022 with sixteen teams taking part. It was the fourteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the first that was held in the West Indies. Bangladesh were the defending champions.

The 2017 Desert T20 Challenge was an international Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 14 to 20 January 2017. The eight Associate Members that have T20I status were scheduled to take part. However, Papua New Guinea declined to participate and were replaced by Namibia. Therefore, matches with Namibia were played as Twenty20 matches.

The Afghan cricket team toured Zimbabwe between January and February 2017. The tour consisted of five One Day International (ODI) matches. Ahead of the ODI series, the Afghanistan A cricket team played five "unofficial" ODI matches against the Zimbabwe A cricket team. All of those matches had List A status. Afghanistan won the List A series 4–1 and the ODI series 3–2.
