The Tri-nation series in Zimbabwe in 2010 (known as Micromax Cup and Zimbabwe Triangular Series 2010 too) was the name of the One Day International cricket tournament in Zimbabwe that was between India, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean boards expected better sponsorship offers with Indian cricket team involved[ citation needed ]. Sri Lanka won the series by beating Zimbabwe in the finals. [1]

The 1996 Cricket World Cup, also called the Wills World Cup 1996 after the Wills Navy Cut brand produced by tournament sponsor ITC, was the sixth Cricket World Cup organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It was the second World Cup to be hosted by Pakistan and India but Sri Lanka were hosts for the first time. The tournament was won by Sri Lanka, who defeated Australia by seven wickets in the final on 17 March 1996 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan.
The 2004 ICC Champions Trophy was held in England in September 2004. Twelve teams competed in 15 matches spread over 16 days at three venues: Edgbaston, The Rose Bowl and The Oval. The nations competing included the ten Test nations, Kenya, and – making their One Day International debut – the United States who qualified by winning the 2004 ICC Six Nations Challenge by the smallest of margins.
The 1997 Asia Cup was the sixth Asia Cup tournament, and the second to be held in Sri Lanka. The tournament took place between July 14–26, 1997. Four teams took part in the tournament: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The Indian cricket team toured the Caribbean from 26 June to 5 July 2009 for a four-match One Day International series against the West Indies. This tour was India's reciprocal tour of the Caribbean, after West Indies visited them in January 2007. The series was won 2–1 by India.

The Tri-Series in Bangladesh in 2010 was a One Day International cricket tournament for the Idea Cup which was held in Bangladesh from 4 January to 13 January 2010. The tournament involved the national teams of India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The tournament was won by Sri Lanka who defeated India in the final match which was held on 13 January 2010.

The Sri Lanka national cricket team toured India during the 1997–98 cricket season, playing three Test matches and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). Both series were drawn; all three Tests were draws, and each side won one of the ODIs, tying the series 1–1. The other ODI, which was held on 25 December, was abandoned after three overs had been bowled, when after discussion between the two captains and the match referee, it was determined that the inconsistent bounce of the pitch was too dangerous for the players. This was the first occasion on which an international cricket match had been called off for this reason.
The 2013 West Indies Tri-Series was a One Day International cricket tournament in the Caribbean that was held between India, Sri Lanka and the West Indies. The first round of group fixtures were held at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica with the second round and the final held at Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. The series was named the Celkon Mobile Cup. India won the series after they defeated Sri Lanka in the final. Sri Lanka's Upul Tharanga scored the most runs in the series (223), while his teammate Rangana Herath and India's Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked the most wickets with 10; the latter was named the player of the series.
The 2008 Women's One-Day Internationals Asia Cup was the fourth edition of the ACC Women's Asia Cup, a Women's One Day International cricket tournament organized by the Asian Cricket Council. Four teams took part in the tournament: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Matches involving Bangladesh did not have ODI status. It was held between 2 May and 11 May 2008, in Sri Lanka. The matches were played at the Welagedara Stadium and Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. India won the final against Sri Lanka by 177 runs.
The 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in Bangladesh from 22 January to 14 February 2016. It was the eleventh edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in Bangladesh, after the 2004 event.

It was a tri-nation series between the national representative cricket teams of Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and the West Indies. The Sri Lankan team were originally scheduled to tour Zimbabwe for two Tests, three ODIs and one Twenty20 International (T20I). However, the ODIs and T20I were replaced by this tri-series.
The 2017 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament that was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 7 to 21 February 2017. It was the final stage of the qualification process for the 2017 World Cup in England. The tournament was the fourth edition of the World Cup Qualifier, and the first to be held in Sri Lanka.
The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier, which took place in June and July 2023 in Zimbabwe. It was the culmination of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process and decided the final two participants for the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
The Singer World Series was a quadrangular ODI cricket tournament held in Sri Lanka from 4 to 17 September 1994. It featured the national cricket teams of Pakistan, Australia, India and the hosts, Sri Lanka. The competition was won by India, which defeated Sri Lanka in the final.
The India cricket team toured Sri Lanka in July 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. All the matches took place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Originally, the tour was scheduled to take place in June 2020, but was moved back to August 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before being postponed. On 9 July 2021, following an outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the Sri Lankan camp, the series was postponed from 13 to 18 July.
The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Sri Lanka in January 2024 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The T20I series was part of Sri Lanka's preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament.
