The Zimbabwe men's national cricket team,also known as the Chevrons,represents Zimbabwe in men's international cricket and is overseen by Zimbabwe Cricket. Zimbabwe has been a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992. As of May,2023,Zimbabwe was ranked 10th in Tests,11th in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 11th in Twenty20 internationals (T20Is) by the ICC.
The Bangladesh men's national cricket team,popularly known as The Tigers,is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test,One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status. It played its first Test match in November 2000 against India with a 9 wicket win in Dhaka,becoming the tenth Test-playing nation. It became an associate member of the ICC in 1977,and competed in six ICC Trophies but performed inconsistently until 1997,which marked the year of their first major victory,winning the 1997 ICC Trophy held in Malaysia. This set Bangladesh on its way of becoming a Test-playing nation,a journey which ended with success in the year 2000.
Tillakaratne Mudiyanselage Dilshan,commonly known as TM Dilshan is a former Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. He is often regarded as the best rated Sri Lankan player in run-chases in ODI history and one of the most innovative players of all time.He had a unique moustache style which gives him a remarkable personality.He is the top run scorer in 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup with 500 runs,and scored century against England in semi final of ICC 2011 world cup. Dilshan is considered to be a rare example of a cricketer with notable skills in all aspects of the game,who can bat,bowl,field and keep wicket. He is an aggressive right-hand batsman who invented the scoop,which has come to be known as the Dilscoop,a shot that hits the ball over the keeper. Apart from being an opening batsman,he is also a capable off-break bowler. Energetic in the field,he usually fielded at the point region. He was part of the Sri Lankan team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20.
Kulasekara Mudiyanselage Dinesh Nuwan Kulasekara is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played all formats of the game. He was educated at Bandaranayake College Gampaha
Abdur Razzak is a Bangladeshi former cricketer who played in all formats of the game. Abdur Razzak is the first Bangladeshi to take 200 wickets in ODIs. He is also the first left arm spinner and second spinner after Saqlain Mushtaq to take a hat-trick.
Mushfiqur Rahim is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper in the national team.

Mohammad Mahmudullah,also known as Riyad,is a Bangladeshi cricketer and former T20I captain. He has played First-class and List A cricket for Dhaka Division and has represented Bangladesh in all forms of the game. An all-rounder,he is a lower or middle-order batsman as well as an off spin bowler. He has almost 10,000 runs and 150+ wickets. He is prominent for his ability to finish a close limited over game. He is the first Bangladeshi to score a World Cup hundred. Mahmudullah started his career as a bowler and then converted into a batsman who could bowl off-breaks.
Lokuge Dinesh Chandimal is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team. A handy right-handed middle order batter who sometimes plays as the wicket-keeper,Chandimal lead Sri Lanka in the group stages of the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 in which Sri Lanka ended up as the champions.
Craig Richard Ervine is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. He holds an Irish passport. In January 2022,in the opening fixture of the series against Sri Lanka,Ervine played in his 100th One Day International (ODI) match.
Thomas William Maxwell Latham is a New Zealand international cricketer who is the vice captain of New Zealand cricket team in Test matches and One Day Internationals. He is the son of former cricketer Rod Latham. He has the most Test centuries for New Zealand opening batsmen. Latham was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship

Peter Joseph Moor is a Zimbabwean-born cricketer,who plays as a wicket-keeper batsman. He is a former vice-captain for the Zimbabwe cricket team.
Kariyawasam Indipalage Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan professional cricketer who plays all three formats of the game for the national team and also serves as the vice-captain of the national team in T20I and ODI. Aleft-handed batsman,Asalanka made his international debut for Sri Lanka in June 2021.
Balapuwaduge Kusal Gimhan Mendis,popularly known as Kusal Mendis is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays as a top-order batter in all forms of the game and current captain of national ODI team. He only played sixteen first-class matches before playing for the national side. In November 2017,he was named the One Day International (ODI) batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
Madagamagamage Dasun Shanaka is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and former limited overs captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team. An all-rounder,Shanaka is a right-handed batter and a right-arm medium fast bowler.
Downdegedara Asela Sampath Gunaratne,commonly known as Asela Gunaratne is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer,who played all forms of the game for Sri Lanka. Gunaratne is an aggressive right-handed batsman who occasionally bowls part-time medium pace. He is currently serving in the Sri Lanka Army as a Warrant officer attached to the 6th Field Regiment,Sri Lanka Artillery. He is a past pupil of Sri Rahula College,Kandy. In November 2017,he won four awards at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards ceremony,including two awards for best all-rounder.
The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Sri Lanka in June and July 2017 to play one Test match and five One Day Internationals (ODIs). Originally,the schedule was for two Test matches and three ODIs. It was Zimbabwe's first tour of Sri Lanka since January 2002. All the matches were played as day games.
The 2017–18 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that took place in January 2018. It was a tri-nation series between Bangladesh,Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe,with all the matches played as One Day Internationals (ODIs). The Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium hosted all the matches,with each fixture starting at noon. The second ODI was the 100th to be played at the venue and in the third match,Bangladesh recorded their biggest win in ODIs,beating Sri Lanka by 163 runs.
