Forster Mutizwa (born 24 August 1985) is a Zimbabwean cricket umpire and former cricketer. He played as a right-handed lower middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper.

Playing career

He was first called up to the national team for a tour of Bangladesh, [1] and subsequently made his international debut in a One Day International (ODI) against Kenya on 27 January 2009. He had featured in a lone Test for Zimbabwe against New Zealand in January 2012. [2] In December 2019, he quit playing cricket to become an umpire. [3]

Umpiring career

On 23 July 2021, he stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. [4] On 7 August 2022, he made his ODI umpiring debut in a match between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. [5] As of March 2023, he had officiated in 3 ODI and 24 T20I matches, including two women's T20Is.

The Bangladesh men's national cricket team, popularly known as The Tigers, is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Christopher Phiri is a Zimbabwean cricket umpire and former List A cricketer. As an umpire, he stood in a tour match between Zimbabwe Chairman's XI and the visiting Afghanistan national team in October 2015. On 22 July 2021, Phiri stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. On 10 August 2022, he stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, also between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. He has umpired in 7 ODIs, including one women's ODI, and 23 T20Is, which also include 2 women's T20Is.

Brandon Anesu Mavuta is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for the Zimbabwe national cricket team. In January 2016, he was named in Zimbabwe's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his international debut for Zimbabwe in July 2018, against Australia, in a Twenty20 International.

Victor Nyauchi is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He was the leading wicket-taker in the 2017–18 Logan Cup for Mountaineers, with 31 dismissals in eight matches.

Ihsanullah is an Afghan cricketer who plays as a right-handed opening batsman. He made his first-class debut for Afghanistan against the Netherlands in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup on 29 July 2016. Prior to his first-class debut, he captained the Afghanistan U-19 team in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his Test cricket debut in March 2019. The Bangladesh cricket team toured Zimbabwe in July 2021 to play one Test, three One Day International (ODI), and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Bangladesh last toured Zimbabwe in April and May 2013. Originally, two Test matches were scheduled to be played on the tour, but one of the Tests was replaced with an additional T20I match.
