Narayanan Janani (born 28 April 1985) is an Indian cricket umpire. [1] She is currently a member of Development Panel of ICC Umpires. [2] [3] [4] She was one of the female umpires named by the ICC to stand in matches in the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. [5] [6]

On 10 January 2023, she along with Vrinda Rathi and Gayathri Venugopalan became the first woman umpires to stand as an on-field umpire in a men's domestic fixture in India, when she was one of the umpires in the match between Tripura and Railways in the 2022–23 Ranji Trophy. [7]

The International Panel of ICC Development Umpires is a panel of international cricket umpires chosen by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Established in 2005, its members are drawn primarily from the organisation's associate members. It stands alongside, and is intended to offer a career path into the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires. Umpires on the panel are not restricted to matches between associate teams, and have officiated at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International level.

Vrinda Ghanshyam Rathi is an Indian cricket umpire. She is currently a member of Development Panel of ICC Umpires. She was one of the female umpires named by the ICC to stand in matches in the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
