Shiju Sam Mannil (born 3 January 1978) is an Indian-born international cricket umpire based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). [1] He was named the best umpire at the Shyam Bhatia Awards in Dubai in both 2018 and 2019. [2] [3]

He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between the UAE and Nepal, on 1 February 2019. [4] His first One Day International (ODI) match as an umpire was played by the United Arab Emirates and the United States in the 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series on 8 December 2019. [5]

Mohammad Naveed is a cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Afghanistan on 2 May 2014 and his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Scotland in the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament on 9 July 2015. In January 2019, he captained the UAE for the first time in an ODI, in their home series against Nepal. In March 2021, Naveed was found guilty of corruption and banned from all cricket for eight years.

Ahmed Shahab is a Pakistani cricket umpire. He made his international umpiring debut on 4 December 2014 in the first Twenty20 International match between Pakistan and New Zealand in the United Arab Emirates. He made his One Day International umpiring debut on 10 January 2015 in a match between Afghanistan and Ireland in the UAE tri-series.

Rashid Riaz is a Pakistani cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer. He has stood in matches in the 2015–16 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He officiated in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Pakistan and Australia, on 28 October 2018. His first One Day International (ODI) match as an umpire, also between Pakistan and Australia, was on 29 March 2019.

The Scottish cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates to play the United Arab Emirates in February 2016. The tour consisted of a Twenty20 International (T20I) match. The match was in preparation for the World Twenty20 in India in March and was played at the ICC Academy in Dubai. The United Arab Emirates won the one-off match by 9 runs.

Iftikhar Ali is a Pakistani-born international cricket umpire based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He made his international umpiring debut in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Ireland and the UAE, on 14 February 2016. He was one of the eight on-field umpires in the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament. He officiated in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Scotland and Hong Kong, on 22 January 2017.

The 2017 Desert T20 Challenge was an international Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 14 to 20 January 2017. The eight Associate Members of the International Cricket Council that have T20I status were scheduled to take part. However, Papua New Guinea declined to participate and were replaced by Namibia. Therefore, matches with Namibia were played as Twenty20 matches.

Adnan Mufti is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He played 46 first-class and 19 List A matches between 2007 and 2016 in Pakistan. In December 2016 he was named in the United Arab Emirates squad for their Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Afghanistan. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the United Arab Emirates against Scotland on 24 January 2017 and was awarded the man of the match. He made his T20I debut for the United Arab Emirates against Papua New Guinea on 14 April 2017.

Ahmed Shah Durrani is a cricket umpire from Afghanistan. He officiated in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan, on 14 December 2016. Rohit Kumar Paudel is a Nepalese cricketer and the captain of the Nepal national cricket team. He made his List A debut for Nepal in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two tournament on 8 February 2018. He was inspired to play cricket after Nepal played in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh. In January 2019, Kumar became the youngest male cricketer to score an international half-century. The record was broken in February 2020 by his teammate Kushal Malla. The UAE played one match against Namibia and three matches against Ireland, Scotland played one match against Namibia and one against Papua New Guinea, and Papua New Guinea and Namibia played one match against each other. The matches were used as preparation for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
