Shiju Sam Mannil (born 3 January 1978) is an Indian-born international cricket umpire based in the United Arab Emirates. [1] He was named the best umpire at the Shyam Bhatia Awards in Dubai in both 2018 and 2019. [2] [3]
He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between the United Arab Emirates and Nepal, on 1 February 2019. [4] His first One Day International (ODI) match as an umpire was played by the United Arab Emirates and the United States in the 2019 United Arab Emirates Tri-Nation Series on 8 December 2019. [5]
The United Arab Emirates men's national cricket team is the team that represents the United Arab Emirates in international cricket. They are governed by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) which became an Affiliate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1989 and an Associate Member the following year. Since 2005, the ICC's headquarters have been located in Dubai.

Alu Kapa is a cricket umpire from Papua New Guinea. He is currently a member of ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel. Kapa has stood in matches in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. He was one of the eight umpires for the 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four tournament. He made his One Day International (ODI) umpiring debut in a match between Papua New Guinea and Scotland on 24 November 2017. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match between the Philippines and Vanuatu in the Regional Final of the 2018–19 ICC World Twenty20 East Asia-Pacific Qualifier tournament on 23 March 2019.
The 2017 Desert T20 Challenge was an international Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that was held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from 14 to 20 January 2017. The eight Associate Members of the International Cricket Council that have T20I status were scheduled to take part. However, Papua New Guinea declined to participate and were replaced by Namibia. Therefore, matches with Namibia were played as Twenty20 matches.

He made his T20I debut for the United Arab Emirates against Papua New Guinea on 14 April 2017.

The record was broken in February 2020, by his team-mate Kushal Malla. He is the all-time highest run scorer of Nepal in the ODI format and the first Nepalese player to score 1,000 runs in ODI cricket. He was named captain of the Nepal cricket team in November 2022.
Asif Yaqoob is a Pakistani cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Pakistan and Australia, on 26 October 2018. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, also between Pakistan and Australia, on 27 March 2019. He was one of the sixteen umpires for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup tournament in South Africa. In December 2020, he was shortlisted as one of the Umpire of the Year for the 2020 PCB Awards. on January 6, 2022 Asif Yaqoob was awarded Umpire of the year 2021 by the PCB.
