Sameer Bandekar (born 29 October 1964) is an Indian cricket umpire who currently represents the United States. The first international match that Bandekar officiated in was a women's One Day International (ODI) in 1997. He stood in his first men's ODI match in 2002. [1] He later emigrated to the United States, and was elected to the ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel in 2015. He stood in matches in the 2015 ICC Americas Twenty20 Division One tournament. He umpired in his first men's Twenty20 International (T20I) on 22 December 2021, between United States and Ireland. [2]
In January 2022, Bandekar was named as one of the on-field umpires for the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies. [3]
The United States men's national cricket team is the team that represents the United States in international cricket. The team was formerly organized by the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. In June 2017, the USACA was expelled by the ICC due to governance and financing issues, with the U.S. team being temporarily overseen by ICC Americas until a new sanctioning body was established. In January 2019, associate membership was officially granted to USA Cricket.
Rudolf Eric Koertzen was a South African international cricket umpire and former cricketer. A cricket enthusiast since his youth, he played league cricket while working as a clerk for South African Railways. He began umpiring in 1981, before becoming a full-time official eleven years later. In an international career spanning 18 years, he officiated in a record 331 matches and is only behind Aleem Dar in officiating as an umpire in most international matches.
Richard Douglas Berrington is a Scottish cricketer. He played for Scotland in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, and has since played first-class, One Day International, and List A cricket for Scotland. In June 2022, Berrington was named as the captain of the national team, after Kyle Coetzer stepped down from leading the side.
Marais Erasmus is a South African former first-class cricketer who is currently serving as an international cricket umpire. He is a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and stands in matches in all three formats of international cricket – Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
Nitin Narendra Menon is an Indian former cricketer and umpire. He was a right-handed batsman, representing Madhya Pradesh in List A cricket. He is now an umpire and has stood in matches in the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy and the Sheffield Shield in Australia. In June 2020, he was promoted to the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, replacing Nigel Llong. His father Narendra Menon was also a cricketer and umpire.
Simon Douglas Fry is an Australian former cricket umpire. In April 2020, Fry announced his retirement from elite umpiring.
Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, also known as Sharfuddoula Saikat, is an international cricket umpire and a former first-class player from Bangladesh. He is the first Bangladeshi umpire to be included in the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires in March 2024. He also officiate in 100 matches in men's international cricket including ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in 2023.
Joel Sheldon Wilson is an international cricket umpire from Trinidad and Tobago. Wilson is currently a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, representing the West Indies. He stands in matches of all the three formats of international cricket – Tests, One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
Leslie St Auburn Reifer is a Barbadian cricket umpire. His father Leslie Reifer played for Barbados during the 1970s and 1980s.
Anil Chaudhary is an Indian cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) on 10 October 2013, in a match between India and Australia. His first One Day International (ODI) as an umpire, between India and the West Indies, was played on 27 November 2013. He was one of the 17 on-field umpires for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In January 2020, he was named as one of the sixteen umpires for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup tournament in South Africa.
Mark Hawthorne is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI), between Ireland and Pakistan, on 28 May 2011. His Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut was in a fixture between the Netherlands and Canada in the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, on 13 March 2012.
Rashid Riaz is a Pakistani cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer. He has stood in matches in the 2015–16 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He officiated in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Pakistan and Australia, on 28 October 2018. His first One Day International (ODI) match as an umpire, also between Pakistan and Australia, was on 29 March 2019.
Wayne Roger Knights is a New Zealand cricket umpire. Along with Tim Parlane, Knights umpired the final of the 2015–16 Ford Trophy, in January 2016. He was added to the ICC International Panel of Umpires in June 2016. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between New Zealand and Bangladesh, on 26 December 2016.
Roland Black is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. He has been an umpire since 2006. His name was added to ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel in 2016.

Asif Yaqoob is a Pakistani cricket umpire. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Pakistan and Australia, on 26 October 2018. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, also between Pakistan and Australia, on 27 March 2019. He was one of the sixteen umpires for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup tournament in South Africa. In December 2020, he was shortlisted as one of the Umpire of the Year for the 2020 PCB Awards. on January 6, 2022 Asif Yaqoob was awarded Umpire of the year 2021 by the PCB.
Neil Alan Rock is an Irish cricketer. Rock made his international debut for the Ireland cricket team in August 2021.
Rizwan Akram is a Dutch former cricketer and now an umpire. In April 2018, he was appointed to the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Panel of Development Umpires. He was one of the umpires for the 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series. On 12 June 2018, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) umpiring debut, in a match between the Netherlands and Ireland. On 1 August 2018, he stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, when the visiting Nepal and the Netherlands played in Amstelveen.

David McLean is a Scottish advocate and cricket umpire. He is a member of the Development Panel of ICC Umpires. McLean played as a wicket-keeper in local domestic cricket in Scotland, becoming an umpire in 2014. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Scotland and Sri Lanka, on 21 May 2019. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Scotland and the Netherlands, on 16 September 2019.
