Rudolf Eric Koertzen was a South African international cricket umpire. A cricket enthusiast since his youth, he played league cricket while working as a clerk for South African Railways. He began umpiring in 1981, before becoming a full-time official eleven years later. In an international career spanning 18 years, he officiated in a record 331 matches and is only behind Aleem Dar in officiating as an umpire in most international matches.
Christopher Blair Gaffaney is a former New Zealand cricketer who played for Otago. He became an umpire after retiring as a player. A right-handed batsman, he played in 83 first-class and 113 List A matches. At present he serves as an international umpire. A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), where each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. These matches hold top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019.
Richard Douglas Berrington is a Scottish cricketer. Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, also known as Sharfuddoula Saikat, is an international cricket umpire and a former first-class player from Bangladesh. He was the first Bangladeshi umpire to officiate in 100 matches in men's international cricket. He was also the first umpire from Bangladesh to be named as a match official for ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in 2023.
Joel Sheldon Wilson is an international cricket umpire from Trinidad and Tobago. Wilson is currently a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, representing the West Indies. In December 2020, he was shortlisted as one of the Umpire of the Year for the 2020 PCB Awards. on January 6, 2022 Asif yaqoob was awarded Umpire of the year 2021 by the PCB.
Rizwan Akram is a Dutch former cricketer and now an umpire. In April 2018, he was appointed to the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Panel of Development Umpires. He was one of the umpires for the 2018 Netherlands Tri-Nation Series. On 12 June 2018, he stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between the Netherlands and Ireland. On 1 August 2018, he stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between the Netherlands and Nepal.
Tanvir Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricket umpire.
David McLean is a Scottish advocate and cricket umpire. He is a member of the Development Panel of ICC Umpires. McLean played as a wicket-keeper in local domestic cricket in Scotland, becoming an umpire in 2014. He stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Scotland and Sri Lanka on 21 May 2019. He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Scotland and the Netherlands on 16 September 2019.
