Greenidge is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most destructive opening batsmen of cricket history. In 2009, Greenidge was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.

She previously played for Scotland before switching nationality in 2018, when she was called up to the England squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament. In January 2020 she joined Kent, having previously played for Nottinghamshire, and she has also played for the regional sides Loughborough Lightning and Lightning.
