Afonso Motta (born 8 January 1950) [1] is a Brazilian politician. He has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil since 2011. [1]
Born in Porto Alegre. [1] Motta attended at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul,where he earned his Bachelor of Legal Sciences degree [1] in 1972. He worked as a lawyer. [1] In 2011,Motta became a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil since 2011. [1] In March 2021,he served as the chairperson of the Committee of Labor,Administration and Public Service. [2]
Fernando Affonso Collor de Mello is a Brazilian politician who served as the 32nd president of Brazil from 1990 to 1992,when he resigned in a failed attempt to stop his impeachment trial by the Brazilian Senate. Collor was the first President democratically elected after the end of the Brazilian military government. He became the youngest president in Brazilian history,taking office at the age of 40. After he resigned from the presidency,the impeachment trial on charges of corruption continued.
