After Touch are an Australian punk band from Shellharbour, formed in 2014. Originally formed under the name Easy Life, the band comprises guitarists Jack Rankin and Jesse Mate-Gallo, bassist Marcus Conti, drummer Jordan Pranic, and vocalist Max Pasalic. They have released two EPs: There Can't Be This Much Water in the Sky (2017) and You Wish This Was About You (2018).
Easy Life was formed in 2014, with Jack Rankin on lead guitar, Chris Bevern on rhythm guitar, Kurt Haywood on bass guitar, Jordan Pranic on drums, and Max Pasalic on vocals. The five met through the same high school, while Bevern was recruited later. [2] On 14 March 2014, Easy Life released Demo 2014, containing three tracks. [3] On 28 June, they released a B-Side to their demo "Purple". [4] The band then released an EP entitled Ambient Activity on 15 February 2015. [5] The single "Close to Burning" featured guest vocals from Jack R Reilly. [6] Sometime in late-2016, guitarist Chris Bevern left the band for unknown reasons.
After finding a new guitarist, Jesse Mate-Gallo, their debut single "I'm Fading Away" was released and uploaded to Triple J Unearthed on 14 June 2017, alongside an accompanying music video. [7] After signing onto UNFD, the single was re-released on 30 August under the label. [2] [8] Easy Life won the opportunity to play at Yours and Owls by winning Triple J's Unearthed competition. [9] Easy Life's debut UNFD EP, There Can't Be This Much Water in the Sky soon followed on 27 September. [10]
In July 2018, Easy Life officially announced they would change their name to 'After Touch', due to their evolving sound. Their first single under their new name, "Use Me", was released on 25 July, it premiered on Triple J's 'Good Nights' segment. An accompanying music video was also released. [11] Easy Life played one more show under their old name on 26 July at the Rad Bar. [12] On 27 August, they released the single "Six Feet Closer". [13] Their sophomore EP, You Wish This Was About You, was released on 7 September. [14]
After Touch went on a nine-show tour of Australia for their You Wish This Was About You Release Tour, alongside Vacant Home. [15] The band later performed at the first Halloween Hysteria Festival in Brisbane on 27 October. [16] Later that year, founding bassist Kurt Haywood silently left the band for unknown reasons, he was later replaced with Marcus Conti.
After Touch's sound has been described as melodic hardcore, [2] electro alt-rock, [17] and post-hardcore. [18] Guitarist Jack Rankin notes Taking Back Sunday as a major influence in their creative process. [19]

Northlane are an Australian heavy metal band from Sydney, formed in 2009. The band comprises guitarists Jon Deiley and Josh Smith, drummer Nic Pettersen and vocalist Marcus Bridge. Northlane have released six studio albums: Discoveries ; Singularity, which reached No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart; Node, a number-one album; Mesmer, Alien and Obsidian. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015 the group won the Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album category for their album Node. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2017, the band won again with Mesmer. The band won the Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album category for the third time at the ARIA Music Awards of 2019 for their 2019 album Alien.
Hacktivist is a British rap metal band formed in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England in 2011. They released a self-titled EP in 2012 followed by their debut studio album, Outside the Box, in 2016. The band's second studio album, Hyperdialect, was released in 2021.
In Hearts Wake are an Australian metalcore band from Byron Bay, formed in 2006. The band comprises vocalist Jake Taylor, guitarists Eaven Dall and Ben Nairne, bassist Kyle Erich, and drummer Conor Ward. Waax were an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland that formed in 2012. The band was co-founded by drummer Tom Bloomfield and lead vocalist Marie "Maz" DeVita and original guitarist Elijah Gall, who oversaw every iteration of the line-up. Waax released two studio albums, Big Grief (2019) and At Least I'm Free (2022), as well as two independent EPs: Holy Sick (2015) and Wild & Weak (2017).

Big Grief is the debut studio album by Australian rock band Waax, released on 23 August 2019 by Dew Process. It was produced by former Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning and Nick DiDia, it was recorded at Fannings and DiDia's studio in Byron Bay over the course of a year. The album marks lead guitarist Chris Antolak's last recording as a member of the band.
Holy Sick is the debut EP by Australian rock band Waax, released independently on 29 September 2015 through SoundCloud, and commercially on 14 December. It was produced by Konstantin Kersting and recorded at Airlock Studios in Brisbane. It was the last recording to feature bassist and guitarist Ariana Pelser and Elijah Gall respectively, only appearing on the track "Wisdom Teeth".
Hyperdaze is the second studio album by Australian metalcore band Void of Vision. It was released on 13 September 2019 by UNFD. It was produced by Northlane guitarist Jon Deiley and Lance Prenc, and recorded at Prenc's home studio and Pony Music Rehearsal Studios in Hallam.
Equinox is a collaborative EP by Australian heavy metal band Northlane and metalcore band In Hearts Wake. It was released on 20 April 2016 through UNFD. It was produced by Will Putney and recorded in January 2016 at Holes and Corners recording studio in Southbank, Victoria, although the drumming was recorded at Sing Sing Recording Studios in South Yarra. It peaked at No. 75 on the ARIA Charts.
