Afternoon Records is a record label based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The label was founded by Ian Anderson and Michael M. Sandstedt in 2003, the year Anderson graduated from high school. [1] [2] He wanted to create a platform for his high school band Aneuretical and others. [3] [4] Afternoon Records is distributed by Warner Music Group.[ citation needed ]

We All Have Hooks for Hands is an American folk pop group from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In early 2007 the group signed to Afternoon Records. The group formed after the breakup of their former punk/ hardcore bands. Starting as a studio recording collective the band solidified at nine members with the release of "The Pretender" their first full-length album. Soon after that they set off on tour with Mouthful of Bees for a couple weeks to the east coast and a few dates in the south. In 2009 the group was pushed into the studio in Minneapolis to record their next full length "The Shape of Energy". "The Shape of Energy" was engineered by Dusty Miller at The Terrarium and his home studio, then mixed by Ian Pulicci, and finally mastered by Dave Gardner. They took a different approach on this album recording most of it live in studio, and then single tracking the rest. The album was released on November 15, 2009.

<i>You Kill Me</i> (EP) 1985 EP by Nomeansno

You Kill Me is an EP by Canadian punk rock band Nomeansno. Recorded in 1985, it is the first Nomeansno record to feature the band's three-piece lineup, with guitarist Andy Kerr joining founding members Rob Wright and John Wright. Originally issued on the Undergrowth label, it was later re-released on CD with the Sex Mad album on the Sex Mad/You Kill Me compilation CD and cassette released by Alternative Tentacles.

Dead Horse One are a neo-psychedelic/shoegaze band based in Valence, France. The band was founded in 2011 by Olivier Debard, Ludovik Naud, Antoine Pinet and Jérôme Simonian. Simonian later departed, and Maxime Garcia and Ivan Tziboulsky joined. The band has performed at the 2013 Liverpool Psych Fest and have shared stages with the Telescopes, the Wands and Sound Sweet Sound.
