Aga Fall is a waterfall on the River Yei in the Geri Boma of Wudabi payam, Morobo County in Central Equatoria, South Sudan. [1] [2]

A plan was announced in 2011, by the Central Equatoria State Government under the leadership of former Governor Clement Wani Konga, to build a power plant on the Aga Falls to supply power to Greater Yei which includes counties of Morobo, Yei, Lainya, and Kajo-Keji. [3]

Clement Wani Konga is a Mundari leader who fought in the Anyanya independence movement in the south of Sudan in 1969−72. He then joined the army of Sudan and rose to the rank of major general. In 2004 he made peace with the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) and was appointed interim governor of Central Equatoria in South Sudan. In August 2015 he was dismissed from his post by president Salva Kiir Mayardit. He continued to be active as chairperson of the Mundari Community.

Morobo is one of the six counties in Central Equatoria state, South Sudan. Morobo County borders Uganda and Congo. The county is mainly occupied by Kakwa speaking people, Keliko and Lugbara. The Equator Broadcasting Corporation also known by its acronym EBC is the public-service broadcaster of Central Equatoria State. The organization is headquartered at Juba, the capital of Central Equatoria State in South Sudan and transmits on a frequency of 89.4FM and EBC TV. It was established by a gubernatorial degree in 2012 to perform the works of radio and television broadcast. With the existence of the media laws, EBC became the first state public broadcaster in the Republic of South Sudan.

Aggrey Jaden Road also known as "Juba-Yei-Morobo-Kaya Road", is a highway which connects South Sudan to the Uganda border. The road stretches from Juba which serves as the capital and the largest city in the country connection via Lainya County to Yei, Morobo and Kaya which is the border point. The road was renamed after Aggrey Jaden who was a revolutionary freedom fighter for the struggle of South Sudan independence.
