Aga Sahib Shrine or Ziyarat e Sarkaar or Aga Mehdi Shrine is a religious place of Kashmiri Muslims located at Budgam. In this shrine there are many religious personalities buried include Ayatullah-ul- Uzma Aga Syed Mehdi Al-Mosvi Al-Safvi Al-Najafi, Aga Syed Ahmad Al-Mosvi Al-Safvi Al-Najafi, Aga Syed Yusuf Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi, Aga Syed Mohammad Fazlullah, Aga Syed Mehdi Mustafa, Aga Syed Mustafa Al-Moosavi and others. [1] [2] [3] This shrine is situated on the karewas of Budgam which is about 100 feet (30 m) high. [4] The shrine was constructed by Aga Syed Yousuf himself during his lifetime to honor Sarkar Aga Syed Mehdi Al-Moosavi, who was also Aga Syed Yousuf's grandfather. [3] [5]

Wahabpora is a village in district Budgam in Indian administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Situated on the banks of Aihaji River, Wahabpora is about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) away from the district headquarters Budgam and 21 kilometres (13 mi) from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The village Wahabpora consists of about six mohallahs— Peer Mohallah, Taingapora, Watipora, Ganaiepora, New Colony and Chinar colony.

It is necessary to describe that Chinar colony was a part of Mosviabad and Al-Mehdi Chowk is the famous region of Chinar colony, the colony which is the central part of the village where five big chinars, about the age five hundred years old are present. The brother in law of Mughal King Jahangir and that time Governor of Kashmir Asif Khan had planted these five chinars. Chinar Garden of Wahabpora is also known as “Asif Ali Khan Bagh”. Gariend is the neighbouring village to Wahabpora. Famous plane crushing event occurred near this place is also known as Gariend-Wahabpora plane crashing event-2019.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was the patron-in-chief of the supreme Shia ullama board and president of Tehrik-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafaria, the Shiite-law implementation movement. His family is descended from Imam Musa al Kadhim, the seventh imam of the Shiites. Moosavi became president of Tehrik-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqah-e-Jafaria of Pakistan after the death of Mufti Jafar Hussain.

Aga Syed Mohammad Fazlullah Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi was a Kashmiri Shia Scholar and cleric. He was the son of Aga Syed Yusuf Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi, president of Anjuman Sharie Shiyan (B), a member of the World Ahlbayt Assembly and chairman of the Yusuf Memorial Trust. He was the maternal uncle of senior Hurrayat leader and president of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shiyan (A) Aga Syed Hassan Moosavi Budgami, and the elder brother of the member of the Legislative Council (MLC) and former education minister Aga Syed Mehmood Moosavi.

Aga Mir Syed Mohammad Baqir Mosavi or Aga Kirmani was a religious cleric who came from Kirman, Iran to Kashmir in order to spread the message of Islam. Perhaps he was one of the companions of Mir Syed Ali Hamdani. He came here in 1539 A.D. Another tradition is that he came with founder of Shiaism in Kashmir, Mir Sham ud-Din Iraqi in 1500 A.D. He stayed at Wahabpora for a long period of time.

Narbal is a tehsil in central Kashmir's Beerwah sub-district. It is also a block in Budgam district in the Indian administered union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It is 18 km (11 mi) away from sub-district headquarter Beerwah and 13 km (8.1 mi) away from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah Mohammed Farid-ud-Din Baghdadi, also known by the honorary title Shah Sahib, sometimes spelled as Fareed-ud-Din, was the seventeenth century's Iraqi Sufi saint. He is believed to have propagated Islam in the Chenab Valley of Jammu and Kashmir. He left for Hejaz and offered the Hajj at Mecca, and subsequently travelled through Egypt and Sindh. Prior to his propagation of Islam in the valley, he travelled through Agra and then reached Kishtwar where he spread Islam around 1075 Hijri, corresponding to 1664 AD. He was 75 at that time.

The Aasar-i-Shareef Pethmakhama, popularly called Ziyarat Makhama, is a Muslim shrine located in Pethmakhama, Magam, Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It contains a relic, Moi-e-Muqqadas, which is widely believed to be the hair of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It is situated at Pethmakhama which is nearest to Magam Town of Budgam District and is considered to be one of the Kashmir's holiest Muslim shrine.

Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi is a political leader of Jammu and Kashmir. He was MLA Budgam as well as a former cabinet minister. In July 2020, he resigned from the post of chief spokesman.
