Agak Laen (literally A Bit Different) is a 2024 Indonesian comedy horror film directed and written by Muhadkly Acho. The film was produced by Dipa Andika and Ernest Prakasa with Imajinari and Jagartha production companies. It starred Bene Dion, Boris Bokir, Oki Rengga, and Indra Jegel as a group of friends who started a haunted house business, and featuring Tissa Biani, Indah Permatasari, Arie Kriting, and Mamat Alkatiri.

Plot

Bene, Boris, Oki, and Jegel own and operate a ghost house walkthrough at a fun fair. They always fail to attract visitors as the haunted house is not scary enough, until one day they decided to renovate the house and make it into a more thrilling attraction. Unfortunately, this approach resulted in the death of a well-known politician who was suffering from a heart attack. Afraid of getting into trouble, the four young men bury the body inside the haunted house. The dead man's spirit haunts the place, giving all the visitors a new experience of fear and making the place go viral. Meanwhile, the police investigate the missing politician.

Reception

Agak Laen reach 1,000,000 viewers in four days of screening. Within a week the number of viewers of this film reached 2,000,000 [3] [4] On the 10th day of broadcast, this film received 3,000,000 viewers with the highest number of daily viewers reaching more than 500,000 people. [5] It became the second best-selling film in Indonesia, behind KKN di Desa Penari (2022) and closed with 10,061,033 viewers. [6]
