Aha Naa Pellanta is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language streaming television series directed by Sanjeev Reddy and produced by Surya Rahul Tamada under the Tamada Media banner. [1] It stars Raj Tarun and Shivani Rajashekhar in lead roles, [2] while Aamani, Harsha Vardhan, and Getup Srinu in supporting roles. [3] Set in the backdrop of Rajamundry, the series is a comical narrative of a groom, isolated by the bride on their wedding day. [4] The series was released on ZEE5 on 17 November 2022. [1]

Plot

This eight-episode series centres on a bride who escapes with her ex-boyfriend and leaves the groom waiting in the mandap. [4] The story unfolds when this guy decides to take revenge. The series is a humorous take on revenge and an irrational oath which changes the protagonist's fate forever. [5]

Release

In early 2022, ZEE5 announced a slate of Telugu series and films, with Aha Naa Pellanta being one of them, scheduled for a release on 17 November 2022. [8] [9] [10]

The makers unveiled the first look teaser through social media platforms on 31 October 2022 [11] and an official trailer on 4 November 2022 which begins with the introduction of Srinu’s (Raj Tarun) family. As Srinu agrees for marriage, his parents (played by Harsha Vardhan and Amani) fix the match with a girl in the same town. [12] Later, on the wedding day, the bride escapes with her boyfriend. Saluri Koteshwara Rao, known professionally as Koti, is an Indian composer and singer who predominantly works in Telugu films. He has composed music for over 528 films. The son of veteran and a renowned composer S. Rajeswara Rao, in early 1980s Koti teamed with Somaraju (Raj), son of T. V. Raju, and the resulting duo was known as Raj–Koti. The duo composed music for about 180 films from their debut in 1983 till their separation in 1994. After the separation, Koti has composed music and background score for more than 350 movies. He won the Nandi Award for Best Music Director for the film Hello Brother (1994).

Suravajhala Sudhakar, known by his stage name Subhalekha Sudhakar, is an Indian actor who worked in Telugu and Tamil language films. Sudhakar's first Telugu film Subhalekha (1982) gained him wide recognition through which he obtained his screen name. He went onto appear in a variety of roles in films such as Rendu Jella Sita (1983), Sitaara (1984), Aha Naa pellanta! Rajesh Babu, better known as Satyam Rajesh, is an Indian actor who primarily appears in Telugu films. He has worked in more than 350 films. Rajesh got the moniker Satyam following his appearance in the 2003 film of the same name.
