Yuan Tseh Lee is a Taiwanese chemist. He is a Professor Emeritus at the University of California,Berkeley. He was the first Taiwanese Nobel Prize laureate who,along with the Hungarian-Canadian John C. Polanyi and American Dudley R. Herschbach,won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1986 "for their contributions to the dynamics of chemical elementary processes".

He served on the Board of Trustees of the International Board of Plant Genetic Resources (IBPGR),now Bioversity International (1987-1992),the Advisory Committee on Seed Storage,and the Committee of the Svalbard Global Seed Vault,and he chaired the Technical Committee on Seed Storage of the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA).
Abu Bakar bin Salleh is a scientist in enzyme and microbial technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is a professor at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Science,Universiti Putra Malaysia. He is one of the Members of the Committee for the Setting up of Malaysian Citation Centre.
