Ahmed-Hasan Khokhar (born in British India) is a former tennis player from Pakistan.

Wimbledon

He is the first Pakistani (alongside Mahmoud Alam) to play at Wimbledon. He took part in the 1948 Wimbledon Championship during the pre-open era.

Khokhar are a Punjabi community native to Pothohar Plateau of Pakistan, and the adjoining areas of India. Khokhars predominantly follow Islam, though a minority continue to follow Hinduism. Many Khokhars converted to Islam from Hinduism after coming under the influence of Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar. The Persian historian of the medieval period, Firishta, has called the then Khokhar people a "barbaric race without religion and morality".

The independence of Bangladesh was declared on 26 March 1971 at the onset of the Bangladesh Liberation War by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; the following day the declaration was broadcast by Major Ziaur Rahman in a radio broadcast. On 10 April, the Provisional Government of Bangladesh issued a proclamation on the basis of the previous declaration and established an interim constitution for the independence movement.

He was a leading member of the All India Muslim League and a trusted lieutenant of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, serving in the Interim Government of India of 1946 as a Member of the Central Legislative Assembly of India.

Khwaja Muhammad Sirajuddin Naqshbandi was a prominent Islamic scholar and Sufi shaikh of the Naqshbandi Sufi order in South Asia, and a leader of the Mughal Empire (1897–1899). Raza Hasan is a Pakistani first-class cricketer. He bowls left-arm orthodox spin and can also bowl the doosra which turns the other way. He was selected to play for the Pakistani national team in replacement of Danish Kaneria for the tour of England in 2010, along with another spinner, Saeed Ajmal. Along with Hasan, another change to the test squad was the addition of veteran Mohammad Yousuf, who retired earlier in the year. Raza was backed by Ijaz Ahmed at the start of his career.

Tennis is not a very popular sport and Pakistanis compete in very few international events. The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) organise the game in the country.

The Pakistan national cricket team toured Ceylon from mid-March to mid-April 1949 and played four matches including two internationals against the Ceylon national team. As neither country had yet achieved Test status, the internationals are classified as first-class matches. Both games were played at the Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu Stadium in Colombo and Pakistan won them both: the first by an innings and 192 runs; the second by 10 wickets. These two matches were the first four-day internationals played in Ceylon. Pakistan were captained by Mohammed Saeed and Ceylon by Derrick de Saram.

Khokhar Zer is a village of Chakwal District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Chakwal Tehsil and also of Khokhar Zair Union council, to which the villages of Junga, Shamsabad, Khai and Khokhar Zair belong. It is located 18 km south of Chakwal city through Choa Road. It is surrounded by Khokhar Bala, Dharyala Kahoon, Waryamal, Shamsabad, and Janga. It is believed to be the largest village of "Dhan Chorasi" with a population of more than 10,000 people.

Malik Muhammad Ali Khokhar is a Pakistani politician who was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from May 2013 to May 2018.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Grade 22</span> Senior most civil servants of Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Grade 22 is the highest attainable rank for a Civil Servant in Pakistan. Grade 22 is equal to a 4-star rank of the Pakistan Armed Forces. With over five hundred thousand civil servants and bureaucrats in Pakistan, only a few dozen officers serve in BPS-22 grade at a given time. Hence, not even 0.008% of the country's civil servants and/or bureaucrats make it to the highest rank. Officers serving in BPS-22 grade are largely considered to be the most influential individuals in the country.

The Pakistan cricket team toured Bangladesh in November and December 2021 to play two Test and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The Test series was part of the 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship. The fixtures for the tour were confirmed in September 2021. Pakistan last toured Bangladesh in April and May 2015.
