Air Dream was a short-lived charter airline based in Cambodia. During 2007, it operated flights between Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Hanoi, Vietnam. [2] Its single aircraft, chartered from financially troubled Royal Khmer Airlines, was flown to Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, in late 2007 for maintenance reasons and abandoned there subsequently, as the airline was shut down. [3]

Air Dream operated one ageing Boeing 727-200 jet airliner, which was originally delivered to American Airlines in 1988. [4] [5]

Gia Lam Airport is an airport in Hanoi, Vietnam, located in Long Biên District, on the eastern bank of the Red River. It is primarily a military field, used by the Vietnam People's Air Force (VPAF), with MiG-21 fighters and Kamov Ka-28 helicopters stored in revetments. The airfield was inaugurated in 1936, before the Japanese occupation of French Indochina. The airport is currently used for military training activities, as well as for chartered helicopter taxi flights for tourists visiting nearby attractions such as Ha Long Bay. VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Company, trading as VietJet Air, is an international low-cost airline from Vietnam. It was the first privately-owned new-age airline to be established in Vietnam, being granted its initial approval to operate by the Vietnamese Minister of Finance in November 2007. As of its launch in December 2011, it became the second private airline to offer domestic service in Vietnam, as well as the fifth airline overall to offer civil domestic flights. Indochina Airlines was a Vietnamese airline based in Ho Chi Minh City. It was the first operational private airline based in Vietnam, originally licensed in May 2008 as Air Speed Up. The founder and chairman of the board was Vietnamese musician Hà Hùng Dũng. Indochina Airlines began selling tickets on 12 November 2008 and launched its first commercial flights from Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Nội Bài International Airport in Hanoi and Đà Nẵng International Airport in Đà Nẵng on 25 November 2008. After a series of difficulties, including unresolved debts and a decrease in customers, Indochina Airlines ceased flying on November 25, 2009; its schedule was revoked two days later.

Bamboo Airways JSC, operating as Bamboo Airways, is a Vietnamese airline owned by the FLC Group, registered in Quy Nhơn, Vietnam, with a head office in Cầu Giấy District, Hanoi. Founded in 2017, the airline launched operations on 16 January 2019, declared that it would follow the "hybrid airline" model. It operates a mixed fleet of narrowbody and widebody aircraft, and has hubs at Noi Bai International Airport and Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Tianjin Air Cargo Co., Ltd., operating as Tianjin Air Cargo, is a cargo airline in China founded by HNA Group and Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. The airline received an air operator's certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China in mid-2018, with services commencing in September that year. It operates out of Tianjin Binhai International Airport with a fleet of Boeing 737 freighters, with plans to expand its fleet size to between 50 and 100 aircraft and launch intercontinental freighter routes in the future.

    These photos from airliners.net suggest that the aircraft, built in 1975, was operated by American Airlines until sold to a Chicago area aircraft maintenance school between 2000 and 2002. It was damaged in high winds, according to this report, in 2003.
