Air Lipsia was a German virtual airline headquartered and based at Leipzig/Halle Airport. [1]
The airline commenced operations on 31 October 2010 with flights to Brussels and Prague operated by contractor Central Connect Airlines. [1] The name Air Lipsia came from the old Latin and Italian name for Leipzig. As of October 2010, services to other destinations such as London were planned with a leased Boeing 737-500. [2]
The route to Prague was terminated less than a year later, by 10 June 2011, due to low passenger numbers while the service to Brussels was sent into hiatus. [3] According to the schedule of Leipzig/Halle Airport, Air Lipsia didn't provide scheduled traffic anymore as of November 2013 [4] with no other established sources regarding the whereabouts of the airline to be found.

As of November 2010 the Air Lipsia fleet consisted of one Saab 340 aircraft operated by Central Connect Airlines, with 33 seats. [5] As of December 2013, Central Connect Airlines didn't operate for Air Lipsia anymore. [6]
Mesaba Aviation, Inc. was a regional airline in the United States that operated from 1944 until it merged with Pinnacle Airlines in 2012 to form Endeavor Air. It was based in Eagan, Minnesota From 2010 to 2012, the airline was a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle Airlines Corp. with code sharing flights operated as Delta Connection for Delta Air Lines and US Airways Express for US Airways. Previously, the airline operated code sharing service as Northwest Airlink and Northwest Jetlink on behalf of Northwest Airlines which subsequently merged with Delta. Mesaba also previously operated connecting flight services in association with Republic Airlines before this air carrier was subsequently merged into Northwest. Mesaba Airlines effectively ceased operations on January 4, 2012, when all aircraft and personnel were transitioned to the Pinnacle Airlines operating certificate. Mesaba's operating certificate was surrendered on July 31, 2012.

VLM Airlines, short for Vlaamse Luchttransport Maatschappij – "Flemish Air Transport Company", was a Belgian airline offering scheduled, charter and ACMI services. It was headquartered at Antwerp International Airport in Deurne. It ceased operations on 31 August 2018. It is not to be confused with its Belgian sister airline VLM Airlines Brussels, which operated leisure charters and ceased operations in December 2018. A new airline known as Air Antwerp which was owned by CityJet (75%) and KLM (25%) launched operations on 9 September 2019 and consisted of ex-employees and fleet of VLM Airlines until its closure in 2021.
Darwin Airline SA was a Swiss regional airline with its head office in Bioggio, Lugano flying under the brand name Adria Airways Switzerland. It operated scheduled domestic and international services in some western European countries. It used the brand name Etihad Regional from January 2014 to July 2017, when Etihad Airways sold its 33% stake to the owner of Adria Airways. It previously also operated flights on behalf of Alitalia. Its bases were Geneva Airport and Lugano Airport.
