He was the former Vice Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board and MLA from the Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency in Delhi till 2022. Chadha has been elected as Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. In 2019, he was shot saving a girl from kidnapping. In 2022, he won in Samana by margin of 39,713.
