Ajker Patrika is a Bengali-language daily newspaper that is published in Dhaka, Bangladesh. [1] [2] [3] The newspaper started publishing on June 27, 2021. Golam Rahman is the editor of Ajker Patrika. [4] As of September 2022, the circulation of Ajker Patrika is around 1,08,100. [5]

History and details

The inaugural issue of Ajker Patrika was published on 27 June 2021. [6] Its slogan is "Country's Local Newspaper". [7] The head office of the newspaper in Banasree, Rampura of the capital Dhaka. In addition to the printed version, Ajker Patrika has online portal and e-paper as well. Ajker Patrika is printed in the form of a broadsheet newspaper using newsprint paper. It consists of 12 pages. Each page has 8 columns. This newspaper has 12 local editions. [8] Ajker Patrka publishes news in different sections through its print and digital platforms. Notable amongst these are national, regional and international news, business, editorial, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, health, fact check, technology, education, career and environment. The online portal of Ajker Patrika includes assortment of news, features and information accompanied by pictures and videos. The e-paper site carries electronic newspaper of 12 regional editions of Ajker Patrika.

Most of his films were commercially and critically successful. Khan is one of the most recognizable star of the present era of Bangladeshi film industry. As one of the most dominant actors in the Bangladeshi movie scene during the 2000s, 2010s and early 2020s, Khan is widely considered as one of the greatest and influential actors in the history of Bangladeshi cinema. He is critically acclaimed as one of the finest actors of Bangladesh. Following his debut in Sohanur Rahman Sohan's 1999 action romantic Ananta Bhalobasha, Khan did not lead to widespread fame, although his on-camera debut was with the Aftab Khan Tulu's romance Sobai To Sukhi Hote Chay, which was released the in following year. Subsequently, Khan established himself as one of the most successful actors in Bengali cinema. The Badiul Alam Khokon-directed Priya Amar Priya (2008) in which Khan played a college student with careless attitude, was a major commercial success in his career, which set several box office records. It is the highest grossing Bangladeshi film of 2008 and also one of the highest grossing Bangladeshi films of all-time. And also the highest grossing film of Khan's career until it was surpassed by his 2023 all-time blockbuster Priyotoma. After the release of the film, Khan gained widespread fame shortly and gained a large number of fan following. He is popularly known in the media as "King Khan" and "King of Dhallywood", also referred as "Number One Shakib Khan". Currently he is the highest paid actor in Bangladesh.

<i>Hawa</i> (2022 Bangladeshi film) 2022 Bangladeshi film

Hawa is a 2022 Bangladeshi mystery-drama film written and directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon. The film was produced by Sun Music and Motion Pictures Limited. The film stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, Sariful Razz, Sumon Anowar, Shohel Mondol, Nasir Uddin Khan and Rizvi Rizu among others.

Chitrali (Bengali:চিত্রালী) was a Bengali-language film magazine. Its publisher was the Observer House. It was a weekly magazine that was published every Friday. The magazine was very popular. Syed Mohammad Parvez was editor and Syed Shamsul Haque was the co-editor of the magazine at the time of establishment. Currently this is a defunct weekly.

Zahara Mitu is a Bangladeshi film actress and presenter. She started her career with the beauty pageant Miss World Bangladesh 2017. She made her debut in Bangladesh film industry in 2019 by acting in the film Agun. His first released film, Jai Bangla, was released in 2022.
