Ajumako is a town in Ghana. It is the capital of Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam district. It is famous for being the birthplace of Ottobah Cugoano, an abolitionist of the 18th century.
The University of Education, Winneba (Ajumako Campus) is situated there.
The natives are Fante except the people of Breman Essiam who trace their lineage to Breman, near Kumasi. The main occupation of the people is farming with emerging markets at Breman Essiam and Ajumako. The current Member of parliament of the district is Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson who hails from Ajumako Bisease.
Amongst the most popular towns with the Ajumako Enyan Essiam area are Ajumako Bisease, Ajumako Kokoben, Ajumako Owane, Ajumako Kumasi, Enyan Denkyira (The Enyan People). There are also a group of people known as the Etsifui (Bushy Hair) with their towns such as Etsii Sunkwaa etc. They are the Guan groups.

Winneba is a town and the capital of Effutu Municipal District in Central Region of South Ghana. Winneba has a population of 60,331. Winneba, traditionally known as Simpa, is a historic fishing port in south Ghana, lying on the south coast, 140 kilometres (90 mi) east of Cape Coast. The current member of parliament is Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin.

Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988, which was created from the Breman-Ajumako-Enyan District Council from 1974 to 1978. The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) is a university in Winneba, Central Region of Ghana. It was established in 1992 by a government ordinance and with a relationship with the University of Cape Coast. Its main aim is to train teachers for the education system of Ghana. The University of Education, Winneba is charged with the responsibility of teacher education and producing professional educators to spearhead a new national vision of education aimed at redirecting Ghana's efforts along the path of rapid economic and social development. The University of Education, Winneba is expected to play a leading role in Ghana's drive to produce scholars whose knowledge would be fully responsive to the realities and exigencies of contemporary Ghana.

Offinso, is a town in the Offinso Municipality in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The town is about fifteen minutes drive from Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region; due to Offinso's proximity to Kumasi, many of the Offinso natives have relocated to Kumasi.
Ekumfi District is one of the twenty-two districts in Central Region, Ghana. It was formerly part of a then-larger Mfantsiman Municipality, which was also formed from the former Mfantsiman District Council. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson is a Ghanaian politician and member of parliament from 2009 to date. Dr. Forson first joined the Fifth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, before retaining his seat for the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana and the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam Constituency in the Central Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In 2013 he served as the deputy minister for Finance.
Anthony Seibu Alec Abban was a Ghanaian teacher and politician. He was member of parliament in the first republic. He first served as a member of parliament for Ajumako-Asikuma electoral district from 1954 to 1965. In 1965 the constituency was split and he served as the member of parliament representing the Ajumako electoral area. He was also deputy minister in various portfolios in the first republic. In the third republic, he was a member of the People's National Party, the party that won the 1979 general election. Abban was a trained teacher. Prior to politics, he taught in various schools in the then Gold Coast.
Isaac Eduasar Edumadzi was a Ghanaian politician and a member of the New Patriotic Party. He was the Member of Parliament for the Ejumako/Enyan/Essiam in the Central region. He served under the administration of the former president John Agyekum Kufour in the fourth parliament of the fourth Republic of Ghana.
Joseph Kweku Enos is a Ghanaian politician and member of the first parliament of the fourth republic of Ghana representing Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam constituency under the membership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Breman-Ajumako-Enyan District is a former district council that was located in Central Region, Ghana. Originally created as an district council in 1975. However, on 1978, it was split off into two new district councils: Asikuma/Odoben/Brakwa District Council and Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District Council. The district council was located in the northeast part of Central Region and had Breman Asikuma as its capital town.
