PT Ajwa Berkah Televisi (Ajwa TV) is a Indonesian lslamic station satellite television owned by Surya Citra Media (via Indonesia Entertainment Group). [1] Ajwa TV is a Islamic television networks content, and is a parent channel with SCTV, Kompas TV, Indosiar, Moji, and Mentari TV. Ajwa TV was first launched on October 29, 2020 (12 Rabiul Awal 1442 H), coinciding with the day that some Muslims believe is the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, with the slogan "Cermin Indahnya Islam" (English: "Mirror of the Beauty of Islam"). History

The name Ajwa itself is taken from the Prophet Muhammad's favorite type of date. This fruit snack is believed to have health benefits and prevent various diseases. As its name suggests, Ajwa TV is expected to "provide numerous benefits, counteract negative influences, and provide life guidance for Muslims in Indonesia.". [2]

Since officially airing on October 29, 2020, Ajwa TV's performance has been superior to other religious channels by 92.1% to 95% in live broadcasts on the Vidio apps. [2]

One of the unique features of this station is that its anniversary celebrations follow the Islamic calendar, rather than the Gregorian calendar. For example, the Konser Rindu Rasul (English Longing for the Messenger of Allah Concert), commemorating the Prophet's Muhammad birthday and Ajwa TV's first anniversary, aired on October 19, 2021, coinciding with the 12th of Rabiul Awal 1443 AH.
