RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. It was first launched in 1989, originally as a local pay television operator that broadcasts mostly foreign programmes, before switching to free-to-air terrestrial network a year later.
Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV) is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 24 August 1990 in Surabaya, East Java as Surabaya Centra Televisi, broadcasting to the city and its surrounding area. At first, the programming was similar to that of RCTI, broadcasting foreign shows and some of RCTI news programs until they could produce their own. On 30 January 1993, SCTV obtained a national license and eventually moved its operations to Jakarta marks the end of 3 years affiliations with RCTI from Jakarta, changing its name to Surya Citra Televisi. Its main offices are located in Central Jakarta, with studios in West Jakarta. It is owned by Surya Citra Media, a publicly listed subsidiary of the technology company Emtek.
PT Global Informasi Bermutu, operating as GTV, which is an initialism derived from its previous name, Global TV, is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 8 October 2002. Originally a music television channel as MTV broadcaster in Indonesia and Asia, GTV shifted its focus to general entertainment programming targeting young adults. Currently, the broadcaster airs news, soap opera, reality and game shows, along with Nickelodeon animation series and anime, making up its programming schedule. It is owned by Media Nusantara Citra (MNC), which also owns RCTI, MNCTV and iNews.

It has been owned by Emtek since 2011; it eventually operated under its subsidiary, Surya Citra Media since 1 May 2013, with the network's original owner, Indosiar Karya Media, absorbed into SCM.
PT Duta Visual Nusantara Tivi Tujuh, operating as Trans7 or TRANS7 in all capitals is an Indonesian free-to-air television network owned by Trans Media, a part of Trans Corp, which in turn a subsidiary of CT Corp. The channel was officially launched as TV7 on 25 November 2001 at 5:00 PM local time. The final transmission and broadcast aired on 15 December 2006 at 19:00 WIB. The network was then sold by Kompas Gramedia Group and the new owners changed the name from TV7 to Trans7.
Sinemart Indonesia (SinemArt) is an Indonesian production company founded on March 3, 2003 by Leo Sutanto, Sentot Sahid, Heru Hendriarto, and Lala Hamid. It initially focused on producing series and films. Their first work is entitled Malam Pertama, limited series aired on SCTV. This first limited series has won many nominations in the event SCTV Awards in 2003. Formerly a member of MNC Media, SinemArt is currently owned by Surya Citra Media.
MNC Vision, previously known as Indovision, is a direct-to-home satellite television and radio service that operates in Indonesia on a subscription basis. It is owned by PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk, which is a subsidiary of MNC Asia Holding. MNC Vision is the oldest subscription-based television service in Indonesia and is known for its slogan "Pay TV Keluarga Indonesia," which means "Pay TV for Indonesian Families.
Liga 2, known as Pegadaian Liga 2 for sponsorship reasons, is the second-tier of the football competition system in Indonesia, organized by PSSI. This competition started in 1994 under the name Liga Indonesia Premier Division as the top-tier division in the Indonesian football league system. After the 2008 reforms, the Premier Division became the second tier. Liga 2 started in 2017 as a rebranding.

It was founded on 23 January 1990, at first broadcasting only educational programmes, but has since become similar to other Indonesian TV networks, showing programs such as quizzes, sinetron, reality TV shows, sports shows, newscasts, and recently, dangdut music.
PT Cipta Megaswara Televisi, operating as Kompas TV, is a national terrestrial private news television network in Indonesia. It is owned by the KG Media unit of Kompas Gramedia Group and is named after its flagship property, the Kompas daily newspaper. Kompas TV was founded in around 2008 and was launched on 9 September 2011 with Simfoni Semesta Raya concert. Kompas TV's current slogan is "Independent, Reliable".
Digital terrestrial television in Indonesia (DVB-T2) started in 2009, and in most areas runs alongside the analogue TV system. The phase 1 of nationwide analog shutdown will be done in 166 regencies and cities, including Dumai, Banda Aceh, Batam, Tanjungpinang, Serang, Bali, Samarinda, Tanjung Selor, Tarakan, Makassar and Jayapura started from 30 April 2022 and it simplified in three stages. Analog broadcasting station in Jakarta along with 173 regencies/cities non-terrestrial services was officially signed off on 2 November 2022 at midnight. Batam, Bandung, Semarang, Surakarta and Yogyakarta followed on 2 December 2022, followed by Surabaya on 20 December 2022, Banjarmasin on 20 March 2023, Bali and Palembang on 31 March 2023, Makassar on 20 June 2023 and Medan on 30 July 2023. On 15 July 2023 at stroke of midnight, Trans Media and Emtek/SCM officially completed the shutdown. On 31 July 2023 at stroke of midnight, Viva Group, RTV and NET TV officially completed the shutdown of analog broadcast nationwide followed by MNC Group on 1 August 2023 at stroke of midnight. On 12 August 2023, the digital terrestrial television of Indonesia fully turned, shifted and switched to all high definition on all thirteen local free-to-air terrestrial television station.
NET is an Indonesian free-to-air private-owned television network that was launched on 26 May 2013. It replaced Spacetoon on terrestrial television. The channel's programming is focused towards family and young-adult viewers, with recent programs are geared for children and women audiences. NET airs 24-hours a day. It broadcasts not only through terrestrial television, but also on social medias and YouTube.

As of 2013, it is Indonesia's second largest media company. It is the parent company for subsidiaries which include pay television service Nex Parabola and five television networks – SCTV, Indosiar, Moji, Ajwa TV, and Mentari TV. It was established in 1983 by Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja. Currently, the company is headed by Alvin Widarta Sariaatmadja as its president director.
iNews is an Indonesian free-to-air television network founded by Media Nusantara Citra, a subsidiary of Global Mediacom unit of MNC Asia Holding. It broadcasting 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Lorong Waktu is an Indonesian animated television series with the theme of religion and science fiction produced by CookIt Studio which is the animation division of Demi Gisela Citra Sinema. This series aired on SCTV in May 2019 to coincide with the month of Ramadan 1440 H. This series itself is a loose adaptation of television series with same title which was produced from 1999 to 2006. In the Anugerah Syiar Ramadan 2020 award organized by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI), the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), this series won the award for the category "Best Animated Film Program".
The third season of the talent show competition series Indonesia's Got Talent premiered on RCTI on 8 August 2022, and concluded on 3 October 2022. This show is also the first IGT season to be broadcast on a television station under MNC Media, namely RCTI after the previous two seasons aired on 2 television stations under the auspices of Emtek (SCM), namely Indosiar in 2010 and SCTV in 2014.

Dancing in the Rain is a 2018 Indonesian teen film produced by Screenplay Films and Legacy Pictures. Directed by Rudi Aryanto, it was produced by Sukhdev Singh and Wicky V. Olindo from a screenplay Singh co-wrote with Tisa TS. The film stars Dimas Anggara, Bunga Zainal, Deva Mahenra and Christine Hakim. Dancing in the Rain follows Banyu, a young boy on the autism spectrum, who became friends with Radin and Kinara.
