T Sports, also referred to as Titas Sports, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language sports oriented television channel owned by East West Media Group, a subsidiary of Bashundhara Group. It is Bangladesh's first television channel dedicated to sports programming. [6] In addition, T Sports added a high definition channel called T Sports HD which was launched on 9 January 2021. [7]
T Sports began broadcasting in late 2020, started with a televised match between Bangladesh and Nepal on 9 November 2020. On the same day, it was announced that they would broadcast the Bangabandhu T20 Cup, [8] [9] a five-team Twenty20 cricket competition in Bangladesh. Later, on 10 January 2021, they added a HD Channel called "T Sports HD". In August 2022, T Sports gained the rights of airing the 2022 FIFA World Cup to Bangladeshi audiences. [10] In 25th October 2022, T Sports launched their streaming app.

Bangladesh Television, commonly known by its acronym BTV, is the state-owned television network of Bangladesh. The network was originally established as the East Pakistan branch of Pakistan Television in 1964. It was rebranded right after the independence of Bangladesh. BTV is the oldest Bengali-language television network in the world, as well as the oldest television network in Bangladesh, and is sister to the radio broadcaster Bangladesh Betar, which, along with BTV, are both owned and operated by the government.
NTV, styled in lower case as ntv, an acronym of less commonly used National Television, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel based in the BSEC Building in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. It was launched on 2 July 2003, and is one of Bangladesh's most popular television channels. NTV is owned by International Television Channel Limited, with Mosaddek Ali Falu, a businessman and former vice president of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, being the channel's chairman.
Ekushey Television, also known by its acronym ETV, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language privately owned satellite and cable television channel. It is headquartered in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka, and is Bangladesh's first privately owned television channel to broadcast news and current affairs programming.
Desh TV, stylized as DESHTV, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel owned by Desh Television Limited, a part of the Karnaphuli Group conglomerate. It officially commenced broadcasts on 26 March 2009. Desh TV is headquartered in Malibagh, Dhaka. The channel is broadcast via the Bangabandhu-1 satellite.
Television is one of the most popular forms of media and information in Bangladesh. It was one of the first countries in South Asia to introduce television on 25 December 1964, in the then East Pakistan under the state-owned television network Pakistan Television Corporation in its capital, Dhaka. After the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, the Dhaka television station of PTV was renamed to Bangladesh Television, which had a monopoly on the country's television industry until 1997, with the launch of ATN Bangla on satellite television. Mohammad Foyez Ullah is a Bangladeshi architect. He is the founder and principal architect of Volumezero Limited, and was the co-founder of Vistaara Architects. He started his career as an educator and taught as an assistant professor at the Department of Architecture, BUET from 1994 until 1998.
The 2021–22 Bangladesh Premier League, also known as TVS Bangladesh Premier League for sponsorship reasons, was the 14th season of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007. Bashundhara Kings Arena, simply known as the Kings Arena is a football stadium in the Bashundhara Sports Complex, which is the home of Bashundhara Kings and Sheikh Russel KC. Bashundhara Sports Complex is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is considered to be one of the largest sports complexes in the country. It has been designed by Architect Mohammad Foyez Ullah of Volumezero Limited. The stadium was opened to the public on 17 February 2022. It has an upgradable seating capacity of 14,000. The current capacity is 6,000.

Damal is a 2022 Bangladeshi period drama film directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Impress Telefilm. Set on the Bangladesh liberation war, the film features Sariful Razz, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Siam Ahmed and Shahnaz Sumi in lead role. The film presents a fictional storyline inspired from the Shadhin Bangla football team, the team toured throughout India playing a total of 16 friendly matches to raise international awareness and economic support for the liberation war.
