Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (CME) is a media and entertainment company that operates television channels in seven geographic areas: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania and Moldova, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Until its acquisition by PPF Group N.V. in October 2020, the company was listed on NASDAQ and Prague Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CETV. It has since been delisted.
Big Brother, also known as Velký Bratr in Czech, is a reality competition television series broadcast in the Czech Republic by TV Nova in 2005. The Czech version is based on the popular Dutch Big Brother international television franchise, produced by Endemol, where a number of contestants live in an isolated house for a certain period of time. At all times, housemates are under the control of Big Brother, a rule-enforcing authority figure who monitors the behaviour of the housemates, sets tasks and punishments, and provides the only link to the outside world for the contestants.

Profesionálové (Professionals) is a Czech television sitcom that was broadcast in 2009-2010 by TV Barrandov. It is a remake of the Slovak series of the same name. The Czech version, TV Barrandov's first own series, which began its broadcast in January 2009, was cancelled in March 2009 after only eleven episodes, although the television planned to shoot at least 26 episodes. Studna is an upcoming Czech crime drama series. It is based on a 1968 tragedy that occurred in Vonoklasy. It started with a fire in a family house while trees in the garden were cut. Stanislav Jelínek was found dead in a well while the body of his wife was found after the fire was extinguished. The couple's adult son was found nearby injured and in shock. Investigators at the time closed the case, stating that the perpetrator was the man in the well. The event served as an inspiration for an episode of Thirty Cases of Major Zeman of the same name.
Metoda Markovič: Straka is an upcoming Czech crime series. It serves as second season of Metoda Markovič: Hojer. It will focus on investigation of murders committed by Jiří Straka which was led by Jiří Markovič who previously caught another serial killer Ladislav Hojer. Straka was a minor who raped 11 women and murdered 3 of them in Spring 1985 during period of preparations for Spartakiad celebrations which earned him nickname Spartakiad Killer.
