Vodafone Czech Republic a.s. is a Czech telecommunications company. It is among the largest Czech companies by revenue. It was established as Český Mobil in 1999, when the government of Miloš Zeman granted it a free license to operate the third mobile GSM network. Its mobile network was called Oskar; the company itself was renamed in September 2004 to Oskar Mobil. In 2005 the international company Vodafone became the sole shareholder, which in November 2005, approved the most recent change in the company name. Czech Vodafone currently has over 3 million customers. The director is Petr Dvořák since February 2018.
Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. (CME) is a media and entertainment company that operates television channels in seven geographic areas: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania and Moldova, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Until its acquisition by PPF Group N.V. in October 2020, the company was listed on NASDAQ and Prague Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CETV. It has since been delisted.
Big Brother, also known as Velký Bratr in Czech, is a reality competition television series broadcast in the Czech Republic by TV Nova in 2005. The Czech version is based on the popular Dutch Big Brother international television franchise, produced by Endemol, where a number of contestants live in an isolated house for a certain period of time. At all times, housemates are under the control of Big Brother, a rule-enforcing authority figure who monitors the behaviour of the housemates, sets tasks and punishments, and provides the only link to the outside world for the contestants.
Disney Channel is a European children's television channel owned by The Walt Disney Company Limited, the international business division of the Walt Disney Company and broadcast in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, and Bulgaria. It was previously known as Fox Kids, then Jetix. There are several variations of the channel which broadcast simultaneously in seven languages : Romanian, English, Bulgarian, Czech, and Hungarian. Advertising is shown in Romanian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, and Czech.
Prima televize is a Czech private television station. Its channel is broadcast from Prague. Its current owner is FTV Prima, spol. s. r. o., which is majority-owned by Czech investment firm GES, in turn owned by Czech oligarch Ivan Zach. The group's current general manager is Marek Singer. It is the first private TV channel in the Czech Republic and the former Czechoslovakia.

Studna is an upcoming Czech crime drama series. It is based on a 1968 tragedy that occurred in Vonoklasy. It started with a fire in a family house while trees in family garden were cut. Stanislav Jelínek was found dead in a well while body of his wife was found after the fire was extinguished. The couple's adult son was found nearby injured and in shock. Investigators at the time closed the case, stating that the perpetrator was the man in the well. The event served as an inspiration for an episode of Thirty Cases of Major Zeman of the same name.
