Midnight Pulp (formerly CONtv) is an OTT streaming service launched in March 2015 as a joint venture between Cineverse (then known as Cinedigm) and Wizard World (now known as Wizard Entertainment). [1] [2]

The service catered towards fans of geek and nerd culture, featuring cult classic films and television series, digital comics, and behind-the-scenes content from Wizard World's Comic Cons. [3]

History

In November 2017, Cinedigm had announced the launch of a 24/7 "Always On" channel on Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch. [4] [5] The linear service showcases acquired and original programming from CONtv's library.

On February 5, 2019, Viewster was acquired by Cinedigm and, on June 13, 2020, would merge with CONtv and rebranded as CONtv Anime. [6] [7] [8]

The service was later rebranded as Midnight Pulp in 2023.

Comicpalooza is a large annual, multi-genre, comic book, science fiction, anime, gaming, and pop culture convention in the Southern United States and is held in Houston, Texas. Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It started in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump in February 2015. The series ran in the magazine until August 2023, and moved to Jump Giga in December of the same year. Its chapters have been collected in 36 tankōbon volumes as of February 2024. Set in a world where people are born with the ability to use magic, the story follows Asta, a young boy without any magic power who is given a rare grimoire that grants him anti-magic abilities. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.

<i>Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest</i> Japanese manga series

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a Japanese manga series written and storyboarded by Hiro Mashima, and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda. It is a sequel to Mashima's previous series, Fairy Tail. The manga was launched in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket manga app in July 2018, and is licensed by Kodansha USA for an English release in North America. As of August 2024, eighteen tankōbon volumes have been released in Japan. An anime television series adaptation produced by J.C.Staff premiered in July 2024.
