Akbar Anna is a Social Worker and self-styled Mumbai Ka King. He has his headquarters located in Bhendi Bazar, Mumbai. He is a chauthi fail candidate whose only principle in life is help the needy and extort the rich. The only thing that he is dead scared in life is his only wife, Naaz.
Birbal Bhaiya is a Shooter, in other words the Troubleshooter in the life of Akbar anna. He has done his masters in M.A. [Masters In Akalmandi] From Jaunpur University. He speaks in with a blend of Hindi and Bhojpuri, in addition to loads of desi English. He is witty, worldly-wise and smart.
Lodermal is the one who handles the finance in Akbar Anna's gang in other words the king of Hafta Vasooli. He is foolish, impatient and over ambitious.
Gaansen is the only assistant of Akbar Anna who needs assistance himself. He has only one passion in life that is passion for music. But the only problem is that he is too besura[ check spelling ] to be a singer.
Naaz is the first lady of Bhendi Bazaar, the only one of whom Akbar Anna is afraid of. She is extremely loving, dominating and demanding.
Pandit Jasraj was an Indian classical vocalist, belonging to the Mewati gharana. His musical career spanned 75 years resulting in national and international fame, respect and numerous major awards and accolades. His legacy includes memorable performances of classical and semi-classical vocal music, classical and devotional music, albums and film soundtracks, innovations in various genres including Haveli Sangeeth and popularizing the Mewati Gharana – a school of thought in Hindustani classical music. Mahesh Das, popularly known by his title RajaBirbal, was an Indian minister and commander of the Mughal Empire. He is mostly known in the Indian subcontinent for the folk tales which focus on his wit. He was appointed by Akbar as a 1556–1562 and was one of his most important courtiers, part of a group called the navaratnas. In February 1586, he led an army to crush an unrest in the north-west Indian subcontinent where he was killed along with many troops in an ambush by the rebel tribe. He was the only Hindu to adopt Din-i Ilahi, the religion founded by Akbar.
Mulla Do-Piyaza (1527-1620) was the Advisor and Vizier of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Mulla Do-Piyaza, also portrayed as witty, was Birbal's rival. Even though these folk tales originated at the end of Akbar's reign (1556–1605), Mulla Do-Piyaza began to appear much later. Most scholars consider him to be completely fictional. Scholars believe him to be the son of loyal commander of Mughals Bairam khan, who was assassinated by Adham khan son of Maham Anga while on his way to Hajj. Later Mulla was adopted by Akbar as his courtier and even given dignity in Mughal court.
